Author has written 56 stories for Supernatural, Horror, Humor, Kids, Sci-Fi, School, Life, Mythology, Love, General, Romance, Spiritual, Young Adult, Fantasy, Biography, Essay, Mystery, Play, Action, and Family. 5-19-2013: Nomad is on a temporary posting hiatus until I complete the first draft. As of right now, with 16.5 chapters written, it is about a third to half finished, and I'm hoping to restart posting again by the end of June. My goal for this year was always to write a second draft of something and I can only do that once I've completed a first draft, haha. I won't rule out the possibility of short stories and may start a new piece in the meantime, but the majority of my attention will be on Nomad. I apologize for the delay. About Me: Nesasio: monotypic genera - Nesasio solomonensis, the fearful owl Hello! Those of you from the Globe and Review Game will know me as Lyra. To anyone else who stumbled upon my profile, I'm simply Nesasio, a random reviewer who (hopefully) gave some useful advice in a review. :) I'm a self-described nerd who loves scifi shows, crime dramas, action movies, and epic fantasy. I don't, however, write most of those things. I've tried my hand at scifi (fail), crime drama (epic fail), and epic fantasy (jury's still out) but usually I stick to the supernatural, horror, and general fiction genres. When I write, it's because I want to tell a story. It might not be flawless but I enjoy it and I hope others do too. Unlike many of the writers on this site, I'm not looking to be published someday; I just write as a hobby. I'm always looking to improve, though, so constructive criticism is very welcome. About My Chaptered Stories: Nomad: (Supernatural/Action/Romance/Humor) As if hitting a stray dog wasn't difficult enough, Nora soon finds herself thrown into a supernatural game, a world of curses and monsters she never once thought could really exist. Together with the not-so-stray dog and his tall, dark, and broody brother, Nora begins a cross-country adventure to figure out where she fits in a world beyond the Masquerade. I'm mostly writing this one for fun, as well as a bit of an experiment with urban fantasy. I'm not usually one to write stories that take place in the modern world so this will be an adventure for me as well as the characters. Ongoing. Mountain Dawn - Working Title: (General/Fable/Fantasy/Drama) All Lea wanted was to give her brother a proper burial, but the mountain spirits have another goal in mind: revolution. This will be an expansion of my short story 'Mountain Boy', taking it in a more concrete direction than I did with the short. I'm hazy on the details so far but I'm loving that. Ongoing. Bay: (Horror/Supernatural/Action/Drama/Romance) A shadowed beast stalks the streets at night. The dogs have kept it away before, but when a new threat starts to hunt their protectors, it's only a matter of time before the beast returns... NaNoWriMo '11 Fully posted but currently on hiatus between drafts. :If you want more reviews check out The Review Game: | |||||
