AND I'm back, after an awful long break from writing.
WONDERING why, since it seems like writing was my passion for my entire 9th grade? Last summer, you know, the summer of '06, I started to frequent Gaia Online, and got addicted. Soon after that, I opened an art shop there, and devoted myself entirely to drawing. So, there's the short of it. Oh, but that doesn't mean I've been slacking off for the last few months, though. I've been doing research (if you could call it that), and actually have been improving in my writing and vocabluary. Anyway... I haven't been writing much, even after the fact.
HOWEVER, I have written a new version of the first chapter of Runic. So I guess you could call this one Runic Version 1.5, or Lomadia's Background Version 4.5. I've kept some of the parts I liked, and edited others, and even put in entire new passages. I took out Pectus (because I now hate that name and don't think his age would work out for what I have planned for him), and replaced him with 12-year-old Fulio. You meet them the same way, but from then on everythings different. I'm now trying to make Lomadia a bit more of the 'classic' noble. She's still fairly nice and everything, but she doesn't have any friends among the lower classes or even go down to the town, except in an emergency. A far cry from the the Lomadia in Runes of Light, hm?
ANYWAY, I may just post up some of the little attempted-humor DR scripts I've done in the past, just for laughs or something. I may also put up all the versions of Lomadia's Background, in one story, just for comparison and contrast. That'll be a fun task. I wonder if I even have some of those...
OH, so you're actually wondering about me, now? Well, I'm a sophmore with average grades, who's pretty good at drawing, mostly anime. If you want to see some of my work, click my homepage link, please. I am a Christian, and am hoping to try to get involved at my church soon. I play video games in my spare time - my favorites are the Final Fantasy series, Chrono series, Xenosaga series, Dark Cloud series, Kingdom Hearts series, and Okami(which is my current favorite). As you can see I like groups of things, sequels and prequels and all that. My favorite author is Tamora Pierce, but she is rivaled by Erin something-or-other who wrote the Warriors series. I love to read anthologys most of all.
I LIVE in a small apartment in a big town in a very large desert, and that's all you need to know. I spend most my time inside, living under the light from a computer screen. I can be rather annoying at times, and at others I can be very insightful, if I do say so myself. To draw, I use pencils and pens mostly, but recently I've be delving into tablet-work, but not really that much. I listen to mostly videogame remixes from OCRemix.
I'VE HEARD that telling someone your likes and dislikes can help them understand you better than a paragraph about you. Maybe that's just me, though.
LOVES: Pugs, cats, pasta, drawing, sculpture, vanilla, videogames, cute things, GAIA Online, my family, my tablet, scanners, plushies, reading, music, the smell of fresh-baked brownies, clothing fresh from a drier, water, thunderstorms, windchimes, solo piano pieces, computers...
HATES: The sound of hairballs in the morning, drinks spilling on 200+ CDs, bumping my head on the wall when I'm trying to go to sleep, catscratches, loud noises, no noise, small pointy things, wrinkled paper, computers crashing, losing internet, moving...
