There was once a time when I hated poetry, and short stories were all that I did. That time has long since past, and I find myself writing more and more poetry as time goes on. Most of my blood family lives in Scotland and Germany, and so my friends are my extended family. Though most of them are back in Vancouver where I grew up, I go back to visit whenever possible, and I'll go back permanently when the time is right. In case you haven't read anything yet, I have an uncommon trait among men; I'm a romantic. In spite of it all, I have a history of bad romance. Go figure. I have experienced much love, and much heartache, which provides the greatest number of muses for my writing. But you'll note a few others in there that perhaps do not fit. Ones of inspiration, appreciation, or concern. These are often inspired by my twin brother. I both write, and read many quotes, as I believe that much like a moment in time, a quote can capture some of the most joyous moments, and greatest wisdom. Latest News and Updates: After quite some time, I have finally completed "The Innermost Workings of The Average Writer's Mind". Though published sometime ago in a "in progress" state, it now can be truly enjoyed. I'm sure there's still some quirks, as all newly finished projects have, but I'm going to work to fix those too as I find them.
