I have been writing, but everything's just gotten so hectic! I want to start using this more, though. So I'm updating my profile (as you have probably already noticed, since you are reading this), and I gave myself a name change!! Excitement! Oh by the way, I used to be known as PoetryPal. I like to write poetry and short narratives for myself rather than for anyone else. None of my close friends have ever read anything I've written although I was in the Poetry Club at my high school for four years. This is for many reasons. Primarily, it's because in many of my works I allude to (if not downright specify) certain people or events, and I just don't want those who know me to dissect every word rather than taking in the piece as a whole. Also, I tend to more readily trust strangers to be frank, honest, and, most importantly, nonjudgemental. I am on the favorites list of 10 members. I am on the author alert list of 6 members.
