NEWS:

03/05/2013 - Working on something new:

Willamette to Columbia: The hardest lesson I have learned / Life that is leant must be returned.

My name's David, and I currently live in the UK.

I have studied English literature and geography, and aim in the long run at becoming a teacher.

Other than that I'm an antimilitarist, humanist, and ecologist. I like to write short stuff and sketch during my free time, but I never work on the same thing for very long so my stories are usually incomplete or very short. I mostly produce poetry, and even that is rare and spaced out.

Except for that I like archery, video games, swimming, ski/snowboard, cinema, and music mixing.

A few of my favourite movies include The Shawshank Redemption, Big Fish, Dead Poets Society, Pulp Fiction, The Lives of Others...to name a few :)

My favourite music currently centers around the trance genre. I have a great affinity with progressive trance acts such as Vibrasphere, but where I truly feel at home is on a psychedelic trance dancefloor (Atma comes to mind) or listening to psychedelic music in general (Shpongle). I discovered the magic of Ozora Festival last year, and can say I have finally found a place I can call home.

My favourite artists include Wassily Kandinsky, Frank Gehry, Robert Doisneau, Constantin Brancusi, and many more...

Some photography of mine can be found at http://penguinfragger.deviantart.com/

I am also a DJ of sorts, and endeavor in a music channel where I share all sorts of tracks and events about the genres that interest me. The link can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Solar-Side/125507817521598

You're welcome to check out my fanfiction site (which I have almost completely ceased updating): http://www.fanfiction.net/penguinfragger1

To top it off, I'd like to share a quote from dear Mr. K.Vonnegut:

"I thank you for your attention, and I'm outta here."
