RWA - Romance Writers of America. Yes, it costs money to be a member. Yes, you have to pay to enter their contests. No, you can't enter all contests if you're not an RWA member, but some are open to non-RWA members and the cost tends to be 5-10 dollars more. But if you're really, really serious and you think you're ready to make the next step past fictionpress, start checking them out. Also, if you want to self-critique or be a better reviewer, check out the contest sample scoresheets, and use one of those to judge any writing you read.

Miss Snark - Read her. Live her. Love her. Read all about the ins, outs, and backwards of getting your work in front of an agent, and then to an editor, and then in a bookstore. Need help with a query letter? She's the queen of samples.

As of September 2009, my account here is dead.

It will remain dead forever.

I'm so heartbroken that it has come to this, but plagiarism is a matter I take very seriously.

Hopefully, one day, I shall be able to make my stories available in one way or another, but it will never again be through Fictionpress. I simply cannot take the risk. I shall post any updates on here, though I highly doubt anyone will take notice anymore.

Thank you for the reviews and support. I shall keep the reviews up forever. They really mean more than you will ever know.

I realize that LIB is the story most people read, reread, and rereread. Please stay on my alert list for that one - if I figure out a more secure way to display it, I shall post an update there. I'm so, well, PISSED that I can't share it with you guys without fearing plaigarism.

We shall see if PDFs and e-books will come into play... or of Fictionpress makes it so that stories cannot be copied and pasted. I'd be more than happy to give it another chance, then.
