Name: Misanthropic Mercy
Age: mmm...that's not important is it?

Err...well I'm a senior now. Ha, I guess that clues you into my age. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with BIBW because I've lost my muse for it and I really don't...appreciate it as much anymore. I might write something similar later on. Right now though, I don't think anything is going to happen with it. I'm in more of a poetry mood again.

Beauty Inside Barbed Wire: A romance. Fiona is the outcast in school. A secret admirer writes a poem for her and puts it in the school newspaper. She's becoming the subject of talk of the school. Since when did all these guys like her? How is she going to choose?Who really is her secret admirer?

Quotes of the year:

Person #1: “I was never in love with you… I mean, I did love you, but-”
Person #2: “It’s sort of the curse of being the female best mate anyway. It’s okay… really,”

“This is why I can’t explain it. This—this makes us us. This is what makes it work, we just click. We have fun, we mock one another, and you slowly, but surely, emasculate me,”

P1: “I hope you’re not angry with me.”
P2: “What ever for?”
P1: “Rescuing you,” he answered warily. “Generally, you’d rather rescue yourself.”

“As long as it hurts, it’s real.”

The key to his heart was long lost, the lock rusted. End of story.

His genius made him cold and shut off from others, until all that was left was his loneliness. And they never saw that, never understood it.

“If you ever pick me up in one of these things again, all the king’s horses and all the king’s men won’t find all the pieces to even begin to put you back together.”

And all that I can do for you is this: to save you from myself.

Remember…That your love meant something to me.

“You keep acting like something huge crawled up your ass and multiplied.”

“Are you here because your twisted, little mind decided it wanted to play with mine?”

I like the stomp on his heart with your sexy black leather boots part.

He didn’t like clichés, but he liked this one – kissing in the rain.

"If you would not be forgotten as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing." -Benjamin Franklin

She opens the closet. Black scarves, black heels, black sleeveless shirts, black bottoms, black everything. She presses a hand against her heart, and ponders if she has a black heart, too.

Yes, when in doubt, deny, deny, deny. I’m not one for pretending, but I’m not afraid of a good lie. After all, lying is what gets people elected into important positions so that they can screw everybody over once they get there.

“Learn to take a compliment. I don’t give them to anyone.”

To deny a feeling is to deny the nature of things.

“Is it even legal to have this much information on him?”pause “Couldn’t he sue you?”

“You’re too smart to do this, but if you did, you’d understand my love of nicotine in a heartbeat.”

“I just wanted to try having at lease ONE lesbian affair before I declared myself straight! But now I’m just going to have to stalk you knowing you’re a guy!” She heaved a dramatic sigh, “Why must you be so confusing!?”

“I need to get to class…so does everyone else,” she stated looking around, “so lets all frolic merrily along to our impending doom…I mean education…”

“I don’t like dogs. Matches is an intelligent being trapped in canine form, so he doesn’t qualify as a dog.”

“They’ve only been secretly dating for like ten years…they’ve been so secretive about it, they’ve even kept it secret from themselves.”

“Too bad for me that I have morals and values. Darn things, I just can’t get rid of them…sorry, I can’t be a member of your socially inept group of mentally underdeveloped teenagers with self-image problems.”

“Banter is foreplay, and Shakespeare knew it!”

‘When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.’
--Hunter S. Thompson

“Ah yes, red, the colour of sex, fear, danger and signs that say, Do. Not. Enter. All my favourite things in life.”

They were meant for each other, but that didn't mean they were meant to be together.

P1: “No, I do not! See? We’re disagreeing right now.”
P2: “But sooner or later, you would agree to disagree with me.”

"So the fact that I don’t slobber over everything with a dick naturally means that I’m batting for the other team? Pfft!"

"They're going to have a little fear in their eyes, some hope in their hearts, and a lot of booze in their bloodstream."-about college graduation

I just couldn’t get over it. Apparently African Cicadas slept for seventeen years only to wake for two measly weeks and reproduce…then die. How depressing. Nature was insane.

“Wow, suddenly you are the evil dragon keeping the princes in the castle, instead of the prince charming”

P1: “I don’t know why you’re asking me,” he said somewhat petulantly. “I’ve liked everything you had on, and half the time it goes in the ‘get’ pile and the other half it goes in the ‘get it out of my sight’ pile, so, clearly, you’re not paying attention to my opinion anyway so why ask?”
P2: “I thought it would make you feel important,”

His expression is half puzzled, half curious and half sad. It's altogether a face of too many halves.

You don’t wait for miracles. You create them.

When am I going to be able to repay you for all you have done? And why do I always turn to you for the unanswerable questions?

"You want to self-destruct, is that it? You don't want to be here? Fine. I'll do whatever you want. But if you're going to break apart, let me do it in a way where I can pick up the pieces after."

“Don’t give me that bah-humbug look.”

P1: "And so the lion fell in love with the lamb"
P2: "what a stupid lamb"
P1: "what a sick masochistic lion"(from Twilight!)

She was untouchable. To think of her in any way but platonic seemed to violate the very values on which their friendship was based. At least, that’s what his mind told his heart, but, as said before, the heart never listens to the mind.

"I think God gives us children so death isn't such a disappointment."

"The man has the emotional stability of a sack of rats in a meth lab."

“That hardly counts. Two people who are by themselves, being anti-social don’t qualify as keeping each other company,”

“Mmm, you’re a figment of my imagination. You will go away,”

“You’ll only escape if I let you.”

“Stop pretending you’re happy. It’s pissing me off.”

“That falls under the category of none of your damn business.”

“Life’s not worth living if you plod on in an emotionless daze,”

“I… won’t break your hopes this time.”

My teacher taught me a ton of things. Some of it was invaluable, some of it completely useless.-Naruto Manga

A vice is nothing more than a virtue turned inside out, misapplied or used in the wrong context.

If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.

There are very few personal problems that can't be solved through a suitable application of high explosives.

Never say 'Things couldn't get any worse.' God takes that as a personal challenge.

He wanted to fucking kill her. He wanted to rip her apart at times. And right now, seeing her huddled by herself and having her vulnerability exposed, he wanted to do other crazy things… like… kiss her.

“Can we just stop talking in riddles? I’m more into simple things… like ‘Lisa, I’m not here to kill you.’”

“I gave you what protection I could ... from my heart.”

"It's like I said before- anyone who looks at you falls into a pit of despair. Some of us will try to fight it…" "But some of us…. Will go willingly…"

“I was smart enough to fall in love with you.”

“I always believed in clichés.”

"...there are no shortcuts to your dream..."

You can take each time she says she hates and take it to heart at the same level, as when she says, “I love you.”

Emotional pain was a rip-off. Unlike physical pain, it never ended. When you get a cut, first it hurts like hell, then, day after day, the pain ceases, you feel it less often. Then you see the scar, but it doesn’t hurt anymore. And then you completely forgot about it. Emotional pain cannot go away. You can lessen the pain, sedate it, make yourself immune. But it’s there, right behind the corner, ready to attack you. Emotional pain would never heal, it will continue to make you bleed, every day like the precedent, every day a little more than the precedent. It was not a cut.

~None of these belong to me! I wish I were this clever.

I thank everyone who has me on their favorite lists. I'm greatly pleased that you have liked my writing so much. I thank all my reviewers for helping me along. You have no idea how much I love reviews. I don't care if they have constructive criticism. You gotta face the facts right? Anyway, thanks to anyone who has even read my crappy summaries and thought 'maybe it's good. I'll check it out later.'
