Ears shatter at the sound.
My knees snap under pressure,
As I fell to the ground.

I think someone screamed, "911",
And I heard her say,

I need to run away."
So the story ends with a funeral,
And everyone in black.
Everyone turns and sees her there,
Standing in the back. (In the back.)

They know she's there and what she's done,
But they know how to forgive.
She's all alone as she cries out,
"I never wanted this!"
"This man loved me with all his heart,
And I never loved him back.

My ghost is standing next to her,
And she can only see.
I turn to her and gently say,
"There's one way to be with me."

A tear rolls down her gorgeous face,
As she reaches in her purse.
She grabs the handgun from her bag,
Pulls the trigger 'til it bursts. (Oh, yeah.)
