Dear Readers,
I posted the final chapter of Nicole’s Stupid Diary almost three years ago, but after rereading my work I just wasn’t satisfied with it. Don’t get me wrong. I love NSD since it’s the first full-length novel I’ve ever written, but I just wanted to tweak a few things here and there.
Also, a lot of people said that the ending was disappointing and a little too clichéd. I realized too late that they were right. So, I started revising it, adding some new events, a new character, and writing an entirely different ending. Please read this first:
A lot of people have mentioned that NSD's characters have Asian last names yet they're described as Caucasians. The explanation for that is when I first started writing it I decided to set the story in the Philippines. I changed my mind halfway through the story, but it was already too late to change things since then. I hope this clears things up.
Nicole's Stupid Diary
Nicole is just an ordinary girl (at least, she thinks she is). She's in love with her best friend's boyfriend and she doesn't tell anyone about it, except her diary. She loses it and the most unexpected person in the world finds it. The most arrogant, not to mention the most popular boy at her school finds it. Christopher bribes Nicole to pretend to be his girlfriend so he can get his ex-girlfriend back. If she doesn't, then he'll show her diary to her best friend.
