Author has written 9 stories for General, General, and Romance.

Since I am not too sure what to write here I will just say a few basic, most likely boring, bits and pieces.

I'm a 21 year old female uni student currently studying writing and majoring in film. I hope to write a television show someday, but also perhaps dabble in film criticism.

Hobbies? I play soccer and netball...but in soccer I tend to sort of run from the ball since head-butting hurts. I've played guitar for six years, did drama for four and I have done ballroom and Latin dancing for five years. I'm planning to teach myself the harmonica as soon as I can buy a decent one.

Favourites

Bands/singers: Muse, The Killers, The Cure, Queen, David Bowie, The Beatles, Scissor Sisters, Pulp, Cake, Ben Folds Five, Dean Martin, Sinatra, The Doors.

Films: The Breakfast Club, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Stage Beauty, Dead Man On Campus, Velvet Goldmine, Singin' In the Rain, The Godfather, Shawshank Redemption, Cry Baby, Dumbo

TV Shows: Six Feet Under, Nip/tuck, South Park, Arrested Development, Flight of The Conchords, Queer As Folk, That 70's show, Lost, Skins

Books: Summer Of The Aliens (play) - Louis Nowra, A View from The Bridge(play) - Arthur Miller, Running with Scissors - Augusten Burroughs, The Picture Of Dorian Gray - Oscar Wilde and I am a fan of works by Bret Easton Ellis - especially my well worn copy of 'Rules Of Attraction' and the more recent, 'Lunar Park' - which has to be one of the most engaging reads I have encountered in a little while. "Lost in The Funhouse" - John Barth and Portrait Of an Artist- James Joyce are also high up there, Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess, Fight Club & Survivor - Chuck Palahnuik, a bit of Raymond Carver here & there

I have not posted much, as of yet, as I am sitting on a collection of different stories. On here, I tend to lean towards the slashier things in life (in both reading and writing), but I will appreciate anything that is written well and convincingly. I like to give constuctive criticism when people can actually accept it as opposed to those that 'can handle it' and the minute you don't say 'Your story gives me a reason to live', think that you're flaming them. Writing is a developmental process and sometimes it's helpful when people point out things we may not see ourselves. Sigh. Con-crit face to face with 20 other writing students definately hardens the shell :)

Although it may appear I haven't updated stories in ages, I am still involved with them. I write when I am in the feel or headspace of a particular character, as I don't want to hinder their voice for the sake of speedy-updating, which is why I have several stories running. Feel free to shoot me a PM about anything in regards to my stories, or opnions on your stories or whatnot, I'm always happy to chat and help out! I'm always looking to improve my work. Who doesn't appreciate reviews?...reviews often leave one feeling warm and tingly and like a box of kittens!

Anyway, boring stuff aside...Thats a little of me.

Ta Da.

12/06/09 - I've posted my lame attempt at fluff, 'Bake-Good Colony' and although I kind of like the characters, the story is really un-like my usual writing in the respect that it's a bit...sappy...but we are allowed maybe one or two of those, right? A sugary release is sometimes a good distraction. I'm toying with the idea of removing it :)

20/07/09 - Scarily enough, I have been nominated for two SKoW awards - Media Circles for 'Best challenge entry' and Chapter 8 of The Barricade for 'Best Lover's Spat' (hahaha!) - So feel free to have a squizzy...cause someone out there likes them enough to nominate them and I'm a little freaked out! ALSO, I know it has been a little while since I have updated, life has been every shade of overwhelming lately, BUT within the next 2-3 weeks, The Barricade and Rooftops (and possibly Waltzing) will be updated. Apologies to those of you who actually read my stuff. I still love you very very much.
