Author has written 2 stories for Supernatural, and Mythology.

A small rant before the good stuff:

You may address me as Dawn.
I'm fairly new to FictionPress but not new to publishing work online.
My online writing past is a bit troubled.
I come from the site Quizilla, hoping for better critics to my work.
In all truth, I strongly dislike Quizilla at the moment.
It ridicules the amount of effort that I, and other talented writers, put into my work.
Their "Popular" and "Highest Rated" are full of individuals that don't even have proper grammar.
I must say though, that it does have it's diamond every once in a while.
Yet, these gems dissappear from there because of plagiarism which runs rampant there,
and because of the simple fact their work isn't appreciated.
Many a writers have run into the open arms of FictionPress and I have followed suit.

A little about me:

Until recently, my writing had been immature and simply pointless.
If you were around the first time I published "work" here, I had a poem up.
I strongly disliked that piece of work and got rid of it.
I was at a stage where I took writing lightly, as just another play thing.
I have barely started to really take my talent seriously.
I am nineteen years old and currently single.
(And quite happy about it, I must add.)
I am attending my local community college for a second year.
My goal is to be out of that place in two years, max.
I was born in the U.S. to parents of mexican heritage.
I am what you call a "chicana".
And I am proud of that as well.
I embrace my American and my Mexican side equally.
There are other little, unimportant things I can mention.
My favourite colour is black.
I have a love for Italian food that rivals my love for Mexican food.
I could go on forever with these little tid bits of information.

There is one thing though, that is most important to me.
Above everything else.
I am deeply routed in my Christian beliefs and morals.
Now, I know that many run the instant they hear the word Christian.
I am the first to admit that we have such a horrible reputation.
I would, though, love to show you that I'm not a judgemental, manipulative person.
I will not try to shove my beliefs down your throat.
I will not go around condemning you to the fiery pits of hell.
(I think we do a good job on our own, if you ask me.)
If you challenge my views, I will listen to your reasons and respect them.
Yet, do not expect me to accept them.
I will defend my point of view to the best of my abilities, if asked to.

Enough of that for now.
I hope you enjoy my stories.
That's really the whole point of this account after all.

FYI: I also have an account in FanFiction under the same name.
Stop by if you have the chance. I'd greatly appreciate it.

Not after that stormy night on her birthday. Not after finding out that her brother and the one she loves are no longer alive, yet not dead. And definitely not after she joined them.
