Author has written 17 stories for Supernatural, Fantasy, Life, Nature, General, Politics, Sci-Fi, Action, and Humor. I'm 41 years old and will soon be starting over in upstate NY after the year from hell. If I told you what had happened you'd think it a story rather than reality. I thought I was making up my pen name, but when I Googled it (Something to do when you're bored) It turned out to be a valley in Africa somewhere, go figure. I've had an account with Fanfiction since about Sept 2004, though I've mostly done my own writing. I just wanted to get some things out and practice my writing, and maybe see what others thought of it. I finally decided to post some of my own things, an excuse to finish them anyway. The Fanfic account is under the same pen name, and so far all my things are under Mercedes Lackey. Well now I do have one Matrix fic. I have spent the last 4 years largely on Gaia (The black hole of the internet) which is why I ended up letting my stories hang. I have gotten through a life threatening disease so it's made me think about a lot of things and I've decided to start writing again. A friend wants to collaborate with me as well. Thanks to the people who have reviewed so far, I wasn't really expecting to get any reviews this quickly. I have several other stories I need to get ready to post here, so you'll see them when they are ready. I'm not sticking to any one 5/23/05-I've revised Wild Blood, I hope it makes it easier to read. I did find two mistakes in the spelling of names. If you happen to see something I missed, let me know I'd appreciate it.
