Author has written 15 stories for Kids, Essay, General, Religion, and Humor.

I'm getting around to updating my account here about once a year. Though all you here are luckier than those waiting for me at fanfiction.net--they haven't seen me since... at least 2005. I think. I'll check right now... Well, I updated my profile in 2006 but I haven't updated any stories there since 2003. So, yes. I ought to work on those maybe... when I get the chance.

Anyway, I'm an English Canadian living in Alberta and currently pursuing a Bachelor of Education in English. I was minoring in Physics but I've gotten stuck at Calculus (I finally passed the first class but I got stuck at the second--stupid 'e'), so now I'm minoring in Drama! It's going to be so fun next year, I'm really excited with all the classes I've got lined up. Right now I'm a waitress trying to pull full-time (last year and the year before everyone needed more people--now the only reason I've been hired is because they know I'm a hard worker and I'll work even if it's not busy) and earn enough money to pay for my college and maybe, finally move out. My parents are still cooking with cheese, though, so I may not have to until I go to Edmonton the year after this.

Thanks to Derdekea for reviewing my French story and correcting my grammar: I will work on fixing it soon--I hope. I'm planning on fixing it sooner or later, any how.

I usually prefer fantasy stuff but I've been moving away from that as of late. I like to roam the mythology and the essay sections of this site--fantasy is too hard to dig through to find anything good for my tastes. I write mostly fantasy, though, still, but I have a mythology story in the works. I want to finish it first and then start on revamping it, though, before I even start to put it up here--and I haven't written anything on it in many many months. I'm actually thinking of turning it into a play since I've gone through Shakespeare--it seems much better suited to that than to the novel form.
My favourite books are as follows: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Tale of Two Cities, The Importance of Being Ernest (Okay, so it's a play... but close enough), and Mansfield Park. Well, and also Hudson's English History, but as a reference book, not a novel (if anyone needs a reference book for English history I use it for when I'm writing about medieval stuff and I strongly recommend it). Favourite authors include Christina Rossetti, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, Eoin Colfer and Lemony Snicket/Daniel Handler.

Oh, and I'm a Latter-day Saint, should anyone be wondering, and having tons of fun in my Singles' Branch. My Young Women's leaders hated Singles' Wards for some reason, but I went to this one anyway, and I'm really enjoying it. Of course, I spend most of my time in the Relief Society because of my calling, not with the guys (of which my parents are very disappointed, of course), but I'm getting more into the other activities as I'm on the Institute/YSA committee and starting next year I'm the LDSSA president at my college.

If there are any of you who have seen me around before, the new things I'm just uploading are my essays from this school year. I also have a few poems, however, parts of them bug me still, when it comes to meter and the such. So we'll see when I get them up.

Thanks for your time, and I hope that, if you don't enjoy what I've put up here, that it at least makes you think about things.
