CYNOPOLIS (rewritten)

Summary: After a trip to the museum, Di becomes paranoid because of the black jackal sculpture the new exhibit contained. When her father announces they will be going on a father-daughter trip to Cairo Egypt, however, her paranoia becomes reality. Anubis encounters the teen on the streets of the desert city and weighs her heart subconsciously. Eventually, Anubis challenges Di, claiming he knew of a deceased dog Di once cared for and contained him in his world. When Di accepts the challenge, it's more than she bargained for. Forced to tough it out if she wants to return to the World of the Living, Di befriends anthropomorphic dogs of all breeds plus the psychopomp, Anubis himself. In the end, will she want to leave? on Egyptian Mythology PG-13
