Author has written 1 story for Sci-Fi.

I chose the name The Scot as a tribute to my Scottish heritage, being related to two clans, the MacLarens and the Forbes. I have learned that the Scottish people are highly loyal to their county, their clan and their family. They are fierce warrors and yet extremely passionate, sensitive and emotional, and are usually quick to show either side.

I am a simi-retired Accountant/Systems Consultant living in the Mountains of NE Alabama. I have been married to my college sweetheart for 40 years, and she is still my partner, my best friend, my lover and the keeper of my heart. Today, she is helping me understand the repressed feelings and anger that has pushed my feelings so deep inside my soul. Originally, the primary purpose of my writing was to help me deal with those feelings, but that has changed over the years as my love for writing has increased.

Currently, I am recovering from a knee injury which occured about 6 months ago. Though, I'm in pain much of the time, it has also given me the opportunity to spend more time writing. At present, I only have one story listed here, but I have had three highly read novels published on other sites. I would love to one day be able to write for a living.

Most of my stories are a combination of action/adventure and romance, but two of them are also in the Sci/Fi Genre. My stories are about basically ordinary people caught up in extraordinary events; people who have honest feelings, strong values and who often change as they mature (somestimes for the better and sometimes for the worse). I put a lot of emphasis on character development, relationships and emotions, but I also spend a lot of time in research to get the details of the story, or a scene, as correct as possible.

I hope you enjoy my stories, and I do encourage feedback from my readers. Remember, I'm not writing these stories to see my name on the screen, but I am trying to hone my skills and become a better writer. Your comments, reviews and emails will assist me in that endeavor.
