5.21.09: In case the notes in chapters 5+ of my stories didn't explain well enough, I am leaving the writing side of fictionpress for good. I not only cannot, but will not allow myself to be plagiarized. Publishing my work online no longer sounds like a good idea to me, so, I've taken it off. It's been loads of fun, and highly educational-- so many of you have singlehandedly improved aspects of my writing through reading and reviewing and critiquing. I thank you more than I am physically able to express. Perhaps, someday, I will return and continue these stories-- but only if fictionpress becomes able to supply a copyright sufficient to assuage my fears. It's very depressing to be typing this. I have been writing here for years now; I've adored updating and getting positive responses and continuing to grow and improve. I even dreamed of being nominated or winning an SKoW award or something. But it's all right-- getting published will be much more satisfying. Oh, I will certainly be continuing reading and reviewing and definitely beta-ing, but my online writing "career" is at an end. Again, I love and thank you all. Farewell.
