Early 20's, living in Brooklyn, NYC. Most of my stories are modern military-related with action and thriller elements because I feel familiar with those themes for some reason. I'm trying to hammer out a screenplay as of right now and am helping a friend make a movie.

Guns for Hire:

A story about a group of military contractors assigned to protect an oil pipeline in an unnamed Central Asian country. These men were once the elite of their nations'. An unexpected military coup happens on the first day of their newest member. The contractors find themselves under siege and fighting against near impossible odds. Lots of gunfire and explosions follow. This story is plot-focused instead of character-focused so that would be the reason for the relatively light characterizations. I'm striving for the best written action sequences possible with a level of realism so if you have any suggestions I would appreciate it. I'm aiming for it to be 6 or 7 chapters long.

Unknown Contact:

In 2195, an unknown alien vessel mysteriously appears in the upper orbit of one of Jupiter's moons. Earth's Vice President decides to send a naval task force under the command of a man who can keep a secret. With this act they are continuing a series of events that they started decades ago in the far reaches of space. Their secret will lead to one of the most momentous events in human history. Expect space battles and political intrigue. The science may not be exactly correct as I've taken some literary license.
