Ian MacKaye - "Waiting Room"
I am a patient boy
I wait, I wait, I wait, I wait
My time's like water down a drain
Everybody's moving everybody's moving
everybody moving moving moving moving
Please don't leave me to remain
I'm in the waiting room
I don't want the news (I got no use for it)
I don't want the news (i'm not a part of it)
Siting outside of town
Everybody's always down because they can't get up
But I don't sit idly by
I'm planning a big surprise
I'm gonna fight for what I wanna be
But I won't make the same mistakes
Cause I know how much time that wastes
And function - function is the key
I'm in the waiting room
I don't want the news (I got no use for it)
I don't want the news (i'm not a part of it)
Siting outside of town
Everybody's always down because they can't get up
My name is Joey Gaber, I am from Los Angeles, California.
I
basically spend all my time listening to music, especially Minor
Threat, Fugazi, Embrace, Rites of Spring, Nation of Ulysses, Bad
Brains, Braid, and other hardcore punk or emo bands. If you want to
talk about music, just PM me, although I doubt it'll really happen.
I like writing things besides poetry, but I don't really have anything I'm working on right now.
My life is pretty bland other than the few moments of conflict I enjoy on a regular basis with my friends and love interests.
I hope everyone that reads my stuff enjoys it. Peace out.
