Wow, it's been so long since I've been on here! Almost a year and a half! Crazy!

Well believe me, I'm still writing. A LOT. Forbidden Harmonies is a lot better than it used to be, I promise. Still not even close the level I want it to be at, but it's at least closer. I actually have nine chapters written, a good hundred or so pages in draft form (double spaced in Courier New, so it's not really as impressive as it sounds). My main problem is that I move so quickly through the whole story, I feel like there's a lot more I can do with it, but at the same time I don't want to seem like I'm dragging on. But I'm going to post the first chapter, and keep posting through spans of time.

Isin Moon: A young woman has spent practically her entire life living in a forest with a man whom she hardly knew when she first decided to stay with him. Over the years, they become like brother and sister, and they fight just as much as true brothers and sisters would. Her dark past haunts her every now and then, a past of her parents tragic deaths. On a walk through the forest one morning, she is nearly killed, and rescued by none other than the crown prince of the land. Taken to the palace, she struggles with re-entering the world she'd promised to leave, and a love that is forbidden in itself. Story in-progress.

Arched Memories: Ah, high school. Supposedly the best days of our lives, right? Not for Kate Morgan. She was always the best. Popular, smart, athletic, nice, good grades. "What a promising future" her teachers would say. She was practically perfect. But the key word is "practically". Her world falls apart when an arch rival rises to the challenge she presents. But they inevitably become friends, and she finds herself steadily falling for Jake. But she should have known it was too good to last. A cruel incident takes it all away from her one day. She had to have therapy sessions to forget it all. She thought she was going crazy. Finally herself years later, she struggles with accepting who she must be. On a foreign exchange program her college offers, she goes to London to start fresh. But when she meets someone exactly like Jake, she starts to lose it again. Story in-progress.
