I live in London, the new navel of the Universe, I'm an egaliterian, and I think Trotsky was the coolest person ever to wear a leather coat, which is a difficult title to win. I hate Tracy Emin, and I like to make up words that only mean anything to Etymologists. I like heat-be-gone booties, and wearing ribbons that serve no purpose. I like the magic of words, and I like people who believe the impossible, and recognise quotations. I like regional accents, and I hate country towns because there's too much fresh air, and it makes me giddy. I like famous detectives who love their wives, and myths and legends that are about hidden worlds.
I am firmly convinced that I will live forever.
