Author has written 8 stories for Humor, Supernatural, General, Fantasy, Essay, and Fantasy.

The future was a sneaky tense that crept up a day at a time, each tomorrow just a little different from the last, until one day you looked back along the path you had travelled and saw how very, very far you had come from yoru roots. Safe and secure; but with your dreams cauterized. In the bright light of day, she could see that that path of accumulated tomorrow was a smooth and slippery one that led down, down, down. The bottom of a Well was the point of iminimum energy; which was why it was so easy to rest there unmoving.

"A body at rest tends to remain at rest, unless acted upon by an outside force." She had never thought of Newton as a psychologist before.

--Niven, Pournelle, & Flynn

Fallen Angels

Kevin, the universe is stranger than we ever imagined. And yet, it's eerily like our most primitive concepts of it.

--Dean Koontz,

Seize the Night

I haven't written on here in ages, and thus life has passed this little page by. If you find these quotes interesting you may want to get the books. I highly recommend them.

As for me, I'm just another face on the internet. Call me Kolostramin. I am proud to live in the United States. I am male. You need know no more. Welcome to the page, and to my stories.

Important Junk (read if you're bored)

I dislike Myspace. People who write probably won't read this, so I'll make it short. I hate political correctness. It is sickening. I once had a huge page but decided to make it short--it's not worth wasting the time reading. I dislike people who coddle writers of any sort. If you're in search of flames or flamers, go away. I don't like them, or you either. If you can write, do. If you need a mental picture of me,

Enough? Good. Onward.

Other Authors (read if you're bored)

After that whole spiel, I'm not certain anyone would care to read my stuff. Oh well.

But if you have, I'll recommend several fictional bits and one book which could change the way you perceive the printed word.

Raziel10, "Racing the Sun" and "Thirty Minutes"

fire-breathing-kitten, "Abomination" and "Meteor Flower"

Joey Pettine, (any)

Andrastos, "Moon Release Lever"

As for the real world, I consider Stephen King, Dean Koontz, David Weber, H.P. Lovecraft, Robert W. Chambers, Jerry Pournelle, Larry Niven, David Weber, David Drake, R.A. Salvatore, and a hell of a lot more I can't remember right now to be very, very good authors. Check them out if you have the desire.

As for poetry, I recommend the following--you can just go to a poetry website and find it, it'll take five minutes.

Robert Frost's "I Have Been One Acquainted with the Night" and "The Road Not Taken"
Dylan Thomas's "Do Not Go Gently Into That Good Night"
W.H. Auden's "As I Walked Out One Evening"
and especially
Lewis Carroll's "The Hunting of the Snark" for a departure from the norm.

Anyone trying to improve their writing or understand what the thing is in the first place should look into On Writing by Stephen King, published in 2000. By his recommendation, I would also say to those who desire the basics should look into The Elements of Style by William Strunk (Jr.) and E.B. White. If you want an example, here's one of the rules from that tiny tome.

Omit needless words.

So relax, and try to enjoy my stories. It's what they're there for, after all. Both to enjoy...and to ponder, if you want to spend the brainpower.
