random things the author likes: writing over 1,000 words in one sitting, having two lunch periods, dark chocolate, having a top locker, bonfires at my friend's house, spending time with my friends, wasting a day playing video games from the late 90s, the Latin words "quinque" and "proelium," reading a book in one day, moving walkways, elevators, the cookies in the school cafeteria, acting like a complete loser around my friends, doing goofy dances to my favorite songs, the slight high received from performing onstage, being adored by young children, & probably a lot more things that I can't think of right now.
random things the author dislikes: fire alarms, being tailgated, being late, getting to school before all my friends so I have to wander the hallway as if I have no friends, having to walk up four flights of stairs after an intense dance class the previous night, improper grammar, improper spelling, writing that is cliched to death, Mary Sues/Gary Stus, having to wait until February for a new episode of Lost, being unmotivated to write, having motivation to write but still not writing, critical people, failure of all sorts, & probably a lot more things that I can't think of right now.
a general note from the author: Most of the stuff here I am taking down for various reasons. I'm keeping my poetry and one or two bits of fiction. This space will be the future home of my part-time humor piece and anything else I manage to write while procrastinating my novel (which will not be here for a long time, if not ever).
