About Me

My name is Shannon (a girl!) and I'm a linguistics/archaeology major who likes to write on the side, among other things. I read a lot, so ideas are constantly being generated, even if they appear to be unrelated. Overall, I'm a very laid back person. I enjoy nature,and am very spiritually oriented. I love National Geographic, Science and Astronomy magazines - basically anything big, colourful, and challenging to the mind and imagination, as well as mysterious and arcane.Things I discover eventually make their way into what I write.

About My Work

Warning: I am a compulsive perfectionist, soI can't stand sloppy work.This means you the reader can expect something worth reading from me, even if it takes a long time! This also means that I will edit frequently, to develop a story as fully as I possibly can.

I'm really serious about exercising and expanding my writing abilities, soany feedback is requested and welcome, as long as it's constructive. If you like/dislike something, please don't just say, "I loved/hated it" - tell me what parts you enjoyed or disliked, and what I can do differently. I'd really appreciate it.

27 June 2005: I'm back! I've added a new story that I've been toying with for a while. It is Aouran: The Calling, and is rather close to my heart. I intend to frequently update this, so keep an eye out for more. :)
