Hey, I'm Sanguisiphliac and since I probably don't know much about you I'll tell you about me. I've actually been on fanfic.net for about four years now, and although I love fanfiction I haven't written any. I do write original fiction however, and one day (after some badgering from my friends) decided to post up here.I'm extremely self-critical, so getting Morsent up here is a big step for me.

My friends know me to be rather crude and perverted, as well as slightly masochistic. I'm also very easily amused and excited. During books and movies I tend to cry or laugh easily (to my great embarrassment), and hate watching movie sex scenes because I feel like a voyeur.

How Morsent happened: I am an avid reader, but writing for me is like pulling teeth, so I decided to sign up to a writing class. Every wednesday other aspiring writers and myself would meet, discuss writing, and turn in writing to be edited by our instructor (previously an editor, but now performs self-written monologues). Being a severe procrastinator, I would write immediately before the class (I hope my instuctor doesn't go on this site and kill me for this); I work well under pressure, but need something to motivate me. My writing class is over now (I'm hoping to sign up again though),and I've tried to continue my Wednesday writing schedule. So far I haven't been doing very well and I'm hoping that getting reviews will help inspire me tokeep my goal.

Anyways, Morsent was loosly inspired by Robin McKinley's Sunshine and Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire. I've always been facinated by blood (it tastes good) and sharp objects (teeth being a prefrence). I've also been known to do odd things for this story, namely tasting chalk and knowing entirely too much about France's geography.

I love: blood, vampires, snakes, calligraphy, latin (the language), elvish (the language), LOTR (the movies) and Harry Potter (books only).
