Author has written 8 stories for General, Love, and Romance. -Moi- I'm 21, getting my Masters, and female. I am straight, I'm 5'10", and I'm studying Art History but majored in English. I went to boarding school for high school, and then attended an all-women's college (ick). Now I'm studying in Dublin, Ireland. I was born and raised in Phoenix, went to high school in SoCal, college in Mass., I'm currently studying in Ireland, and NorCal and Phoenix are home. I'm a little transient. I'm Irish-American (like 85 percent), with a tinge of Belgian and maybe a smidgeon of Brit, Welsh, and Native American. I love horses, and I want to work with them, but everyone says it's a waste of a good college education. pshaw. I'm bad at finishing anything longer than 5,000 words, but SaHRaC seems to be going pretty well. Hopefully RS will go well too. I believe in writing what you know, but only to a certain extent. There is always a bit of me in all of my stories, even when the characters are nothing like me and the plot is nothing like my life. Music: I like indie, alternative, classic rock, and whatever the hell else I decide to listen to. I have a ridiculously diverse music taste. But it tends to be rock. I also listen to: country, musicals, classical, a bit of pop and rap, Disney, acappella, and.. uh... whatever else is on my computer. Movies: Whatever catches my interest. Everything from Garden State to Igby Goes Down to White Christmas to Monty Python to Boondock Saints. Books: JD Salinger is a fave. My favorite is Raise High the Roofbeam, Carpenters and Seymour, an Introduction. Barely anyone reads it. Everyone should. Also (and this isn't close to all of my favorite books): Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad, Orson Scott Cards books, Everything Is Illuminated by Jonathon Safran Foer, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, Sabriel by Garth Nix, The Nightside Series by Simon R Green, High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, Sharon Shinn's Alleluia books, Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood, anything by Patricia Cornwell, The Book of Lost Things by John Connelly, His Dark Materials trilogy, M Butterfly by David Henry Hwang, anything by Diana Wynne Jones, The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, anything by Cody Mcfadyen, Jonathan or Faye Kellerman or Shane Dunphy. and many more that I will probably remember and add on later. Because I'm bored: All time favorites: Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card (book), Good To Sea by Pinback (song/band), and I can't choose a favorite movie. Current obsessions: Dry by Augusten Burroughs (book), Black and Gold by Sam Sparro(song), Emma (BBC Miniseries) (movie) -Updates- 7 November 2009- Okay, it's been a ridiculously long time since I've updated my profile. Figured it was time. New story up! I'm working on a new chapter for SAHRAC, I promise. -Stories- In Progress: Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy: 17/?, Last Update: 1/31/09 Kilmainham, 1/?, Last Update: 10/5/08 Railway Spine: 2/?, Last Update: 11/16/09 Complete: To The West: 1/1, Posted: 4/7/07 Note: May be continued The Yellow House: 1/1, Posted: 4/30/07 Back to Buenos Aires: 1/1, Posted: 10/5/08 Unposted: Untitled Boarding School Project: 1/?, In Progress, Unposted Not actually set during boarding school, set 10 years after graduation. I mean it, I'm a vicious editor, but I suck at editing my own shit. So I need someone who can do it and do it well. I want good criticism and someone who's a grammar whore. And if you're looking for a beta, lemme know. I'm always happy to help. I warn you, though, I'm really really picky. So I'm probably going to tear it apart, so be ready. check out the livejournal! advance snippets, special drabbles and one-shots, and some insider info on where stories are going and ideas for upcoming ones.
