Author has written 23 stories for Historical, Life, General, General, Politics, Humor, War, Family, Fable, and Love. Me? An 18 year old London kid, with a bad habit of writing six sentences when others can write much more effectively in one. A big damn girl going to university now. I'm influenced by an awful lot of things, including The Big Three -- art, music, and other writing. You'll probably see influences of all these in my stuff; I can't seem to help it. Oh, and that semi colon? Yeah, I use that too much as well. Favourite writers include JRR Tolkien, the Brontes,EM Forster, JK Rowling, CS Lewis, Dostoevsky, Michael Ondaatje, Enid Blyton, Agatha Christie, Victor Hugo, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Virginia Woolf, William Wordsworth, Pablo Neruda and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I will probably end up uploading: historical fiction, both medieval and modern, cus I'm a little obsessed. Crappy love bits, because I'm desperately trying to improve that. And 'odd' random stuff, because unfortunately that's how my mind works. Reliability = tedious, as Mr Wilde said in various humorous ways. Oh, and I solemnly swear I will never write or subject you to angsty poetry about my feelings. (I'm primarily a prose writer, and an amateur poet, but I still experiment a fair bit. Apologies all round!) I'm a pretty sporadic updater: I upload things when I remember.I've just realised it's just been half a year since my last! But if you have any thought whatsoever about anything you read, do throw me a review. Bad? Tell me, and why. Constructive criticism is so important for any would-be writer, and I'm always trying to improve my work. Vaguely pleasing? Oh yes, please tell me! You have no idea how happy it'll make me. And with that slightly desperate plea, au revoir. :-) | |||||||
