Hi! My name is Jillian,

I graduated from The New School of Radio and Television for Radio Broadcasting on 4/17/09. Over this past year I have also become an independent Voice Talent.

My greatest joy in life is to sit down with a good book or spend time with my family and friends!

I've attended college level creative writing classes and college level English courses. I know I've still got a lot to learn!

My favorite genre has to be fantasy because it allows the reader to escape not only into another persons shoes, but into an entire new reality. So far, I am focusing on writing fantasy because not only do I enjoy it; I think it's really important to the imagination. Something I could use more practice on would be grammar and spelling...(those two things seem to slip through the cracks when I'm furiously typing away at 2 in the morning! :D)

Within The Night(EDITED AND REVISED EDITION)- Ellanna Lee Bailey never thought that something interesting would happen in her home town but, when she falls into a mysterious sinkhole in their town park, has her life saved by a handsome stranger and becomes obsessed with a piece of jewelry; Her world is completely shaken up! Ellanna finds herself unable to stay away from her hero, Shay, who apparently by the way he magically appears in her room and at her high school; Can't hold back either. With the mentioning of others, Ellanna is itching to see what sort of adventure she finally got herself into.

Within the Night (original and unedited version)-When Ellanna falls into a mysterious sink hole in the middle of her town park, she finds herself obsessed with her findings under the surface; Not to mention the fact that she also has become insanely dependent on an inanimate object.

Moon Dance- The sequel to Within the Night. (Details not yet available)

Eralion- Elllelunia is a young Sahrian woman whose past has shown her no reason to trust any man. When she is paired up with a strange Shifter man named Eralion after saving his life on accident; Ellelunia might find trust where she thought it was never possible.

Designed for Darkness- Rebecca Lawrence was never the same as other kids. When she finally gives in to the pressure of the teasing and torture of her classmates, Becca finds herself in the arms of people just like herself. Not knowing how to handle friendship and everyday life, Becca's life seems to take a turn for the worst.

Bound- The story of Natalia Hallow. Natalia moves away to attend art school and is granted the chance to have an entirely new life. Unfortunately the family she has always desired ends up being a family of werewolves stuck in an age old battle against a rival pack. Even if Natalia wanted to go home, there would be no chance. Now that the rival pack knows who she is and that she knows their family secret, she can never go home.

The Gate- Ahrianna (Are-re-ah-na) and Ehleena (Elle-lee-nah) are the twin daughters of a revered military general. When they sneak out of their fortress of a home and pass a shady looking man, they think nothing of it but when they return and their home is in flames; they feel utterly responsible. The twins run away scared for their lives and when they accidentally fall into an open door to another reality and the people they meet start disappearing; they learn they are worth much more that they thought. Their home reality is in turmoil and without the twins, there will be no peace.

Author Updates:

10/12/09- OK so, Chapters 3 & 4 of Designed for Darkness and chapters 15-17 or Eralion have been updated! Unfortunately, nothing else I have been working on is ready for posting. I find myself very preoccupied with work and trying to edit Withing the Night. I've made a lot of crucial changes and will be posting the edited version of the story on the site. As far as the websites go; They have definitely taken the back burner. I will finish them eventually but right now I have my hands tied in knots trying to figure out what my next plan of action will be. Thanks for the support! ~J.S

10/27/09-I finally got my lazy booty to finish at least one of the websites! Yay! It's not spectacular but, I am really proud of it and hopefully you guys will like it too! The only one I have finished at the moment is Designed for Darkness. I used WIX website generator, some of you might be familiar with it. By viewing my page, you can make your own; I definitely think you should try it! In other news, I'm working on some new short stories and finally making more in the same style as Porcelain Faces ,which seems to be a crowd favorite! Thanks so much for the support!! ~J.S
