I'm 20 years old, and I'm the only girl in my family... besides my mom. I'm a full-blown introvert: On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm probably a 17. Seriously, when I'm introduced to new people, I politely shake their hand then go hide in a corner... Just kidding, but it's practically true. Anyway, back to my bio:
I'm 5'3". I don't really mind, because no one can really notice me if they can look over the top of my head. But if I were more popular, I'm sure I would be singing a totally different tune.
I have hazel eyes, just like my dad.
I have brown hair, with a few blonde and red hightlights tossed in.
My favorite color is red. It used to be orange, but my dad's was red.
My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. I could read that book from cover to cover over and over again. My second favorite book--well, it's tied for first--is Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince. For the few of you who don't like Harry Potter--What's the matter with you?!--that's the sixth book in the series.
My favorite movie is Casino Royale. Daniel Craig got a lot of flack for being a "blond Bond", but after I saw it in theaters, I wanted to get in line and watch it again. I didn't, though; not enough money. And I just love the Harry Potter movies. All of them are at the top of my list.
My favorite author is Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Sherlock Holmes rocks! J.K. Rowling comes in at a close second.
The kinds of music that I like are: Rock, Pop, Punk, Alternative, Soundtracks, and a small amount of Country. Some of my favorite artists are: Fall Out Boy, Green Day, The All-American Rejects, Senses Fail, The Killers, The Used, Three Days Grace, and many, many more! I've recently discovered Killerpilze on IMF. They're a German band, and I have no idea what they're saying, but the music is awesome.
I'm trying to become a writer; books and short stories, mostly. Maybe a poem here and there. There are a few pieces under my belt, but nothing worth publishing yet.
I graduated from high school in 2005, and have only recently decided to apply to college. I can't seem to get a job because I'm not too much of a people person, and I have no prior work experience. I can't even work at the local library, the only thing I enjoyed during my school years, because you even need a college degree to do that. So, I spend my time rough drafting, and dreaming up new ideas.
While criticism will be greatly appreciated, please do not lose yourself in putting my writing down. Keep any comments as positive as you can, even if you thought it stunk.
Thank you.
