When I am abroad, I always make it a rule never to criticize or attack the government of my own country. I make up for lost time when I come home. There is nothing worse than aggressive stupidity. Stories: Right now I'm working on Vessel of Warfare which oddly enough was inspired by dream I had, and turned into this very complex story that I'm attempting to put into words. For reference: the setting of this story is not exactly our world. It is a world that is in some ways more complex than our society and in others more primitive, but the physical landscape is similar to that of Earth. Its not a huge factor in this story, but I wouldn't want to confuse anyone. Life Comes In Waves - a lot of the idea was from one of my favorite old fairy tales, The Little Mermaid by Hans Christian Andersen. He is one of my favorite authors, and for those of you who don't know the real Little Mermaid and think its just like the Disney movie, you have no idea what you're in for. I've always loved the tragic beauty of The Little Mermaid and I will try my best to capture that tragedy in my story. Other than that, I should let it be known that I'm trying something new in my story. Every so often the narrator of the story will break in and offer their own opinions, ideas, and possibly anecdotes, so please don't be too surprised when that happens. Poems: | |||||||||
