Author has written 18 stories for Life, Love, Family, Nature, Fantasy, General, Sci-Fi, and Friendship. I polished up a few poems that have been collecting dust as documents for quite a while. Enjoy. I honestly haven't been on here since March and as I type this it is May 9th. I give you my sincere apologies. But since themn I saw My Chemical Romance with Rise Against. It was honestly a spiritual experience. I felt so whole and such a sense of belonging. I miss that. I wish so much for March 2nd again. I miss being in a place where it was ok to be a screwed up kid that wears black and needs medication, to be depressed and be different, to ba a misfit and be lonely, because everyone else there is the same way. Knowing that you aren't being judged, that you're surrounded by friends, people that understand, though you may never know their names or speak to them, it's magic. Almost as magic as being a pit with a bunch of other kids and just screaming "I am not afraid to keep on living" along with Gerard. The mantra that keeps me sane, from doing myself in. But it is a terrible thing. Because you know that as soon as "Helena" is over, the magic will fade. You have to go home, back into the lion's den annd away from the newfound comfort and all your would-be friends. While it's great to know that comradery aand peace, having it ripped away makes going back even harder. You know? ~Iris | |||||
