About Me: I'm a 21-year-old writer and vet tech who loves fantasy, and am currently living in Asheville, North Carolina. A soccer-playing Gemini, and a hopeless romantic, I live with my fantastic boyfriend and cats, Blue & O'Malley. I love dragons, wolves, tigers, and faeries, and my favorite colors are green and blue. My favorite author is Anne Bishop; she wrote the Black Jewels Trilogy . If you haven't read anything of hers, you should, because she is fantastic. (J.D. stands for Jade Dominique, which apparently stands for "Green Stone of the Faerie God".)
Favorite Quotes:

About My Writing: All of my writing is set in the same world (except for the poetry obviously), one I created while bored out of my mind in Chemistry class sophomore year of high school. Currently working on a novel (Levy'ane: The Chosen), I also branch out and write novellas and short stories (Inari, Shadows, and more). In the years since I've started writing, my ideas have changed so much and so drastically that some stories may seem a bit out of whack. I recently came back to the site, and am probably re-downloading some of these stories, which I have since revised. Sometimes you may see the same characters in the novel and the stories, so if you have a favorite, by all means explore! If there isn't a story about a character you like best, and you're dying to read more of their adventures, then go ahead and e-mail me and I will try to indulge you! I hope you like what you see, and I do appreciate constructive reviews! I will return the favor, I promise.
Levy'ane: Each writer probably has different systems and/or structures of classes and people in their stories, so I thought it would be a good idea to put mine here to limit confusion. My world is called Levy'ane, and is made up of many countries, each having their own limited specialty of magick. These magicks are Earth, Water, Wind, Fire, Blood, Shape, and Song. Different variations and cultures obviously exist in different parts, but those are the purest forms. As every author tends to use a slightly different hierarchical form of ranking, it may be difficult to keep them straight when jumping from author to author, so here is mine for reference; including sublevels (names dependant on the Magick one controls). The depth of one's power lies in the level they may achieve, not their training (although they do need it). If someone has the capability to be a Jade Huntress, they won't be strong enough to grasp more advanced concepts/techinques (combined with the independent social castes, it makes things very interesting):
Brother/Sister: Anyone who has any magick at all (also reffered to as Lady or Lord).
Mage/Priestess (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Level)
Hunter/Huntress (Earth), Healer (Water), Weaver (Wind), Lightbringer (Fire), Bloodkin (Blood), Changer (Shape), Singer (Song), or Witch/Sorcerer (if one controls more than one magick): Sublevels: Rose, Opal, Jade
Teirran(ne), Leaudan(ne), Rawyn(ne), Fyrn/Fyrei, Srodan(ne), Sadanii, and Miloran/Milorenne: Same sublevels. Witches and Sorcerers keep the same names, but with different sublevels: Dawn, Twilight, and Midnight.
