Hi! EternalDream here. I finally got around to doing this...

(takes a deep breath)

Man, it's been so long since I even dared touch this I don't even know how long exactly it's been, but I know it's been a very long time. I'm sorry, but I will not be continuing Dear, Dear Diary or posting any "new" material because I'm just not into writing it anymore. It's funny...I never was able to write fanfiction, yet now it's all I have the capacity to write. And frankly, DDD is a bit of an embarrassment. If my current readers had the chance to read it, I'm sure they'd be very surprised at how badly written it is. XD

Don't get me wrong, I was 15 when I started writing that fic, so I was very, very pleased with it at the time, but now I just don't have the heart to continue it. I have the notes for one or two final chapters laid out, but as hard as I try to get my fingers to type, I've just lost total and complete interest.

The only reason I'm not deleting the entire story is because of those hard-earned reviews I got from it. It's not even about pride, though a small part of it is, it's about accomplishment. I'm not kidding when I say those reviews were hard-won. I worked to please my audience, and I'm so touched that even as the story got more and more ridiculous, people stuck with me.

I'm ashamed of myself for having come to this point, because I promised myself I would never, EVER be that author that never finishes a great story (lol I'm loathe to say "great" but I know a lot of people at least wanted me to continue/finish), but...I just can't right now. Maybe someday when I'm horribly bored or when I have the heart to sift through 19 chapters of hooey, but not now. Thinking about it has given me a great deal of grief, so I've just sort of avoided it like the coward I am, but I'm saying straight out that DDD is on permanent leave, and I wouldn't hold your breath, if there's still even anyone interested in it, for completion.

Thank you so much for every single review, good or bad, and thank you all who waited for me (only to feel the same disappointment I've felt from others in the past) for so long. I didn't deserve any of it, but I'm grateful anyway. (bows)

I love the manga series Bleach (GO READ IT!), and I'm very much in love with the Ichigo x Orihime pairing, so if you want to read a good quality story, or so my readers tell me (I don't quite believe them lol), you should look there. Or, if you're curious to see if and how I've improved my writing over the years, you can check it out for that reason too, I suppose. :)
