Author has written 4 stories for Love, Friendship, General, and Religion. Greetings. I'm sure if you're reading this, you're either curious about me, you clicked on the wrong link, or, you are browsing through my thin line of meaningless poems. I call them meaningless for I do not believe that my "talent" in poetry is all that...spectacular. No...it is all but an outlet that I use to pour out my heart, my feelings...and the useless babbling that finds itself in my mind much too often. Rambling? Ah, yes, I am quite skilled at the "art." I type out these long, droning profiles of them for no better reason than to either confuse one, or to just use them as another outlet. Now...normally a "profile" of an "author" usually means that you tell the people reading it about yourself. And normally one would begin to fill out a small...almost, "character-like description" of themselves for others to read, and then "know" who this person is. But...do you truly know them? Know what they look like, maybe, or what their favorite things are, but can you truly depict ones personality from what they read, watch, or like to do? Sometimes that is possible. But most of the time, that is not the case. Sigh...do you ever get that sick feeling down in your gut? As if you are about to throw up, but you know that you are indeed not truly sick? How about in your heart? When you pray (and please excuse me for those who are non-believers) do you feel that warmth swelling up in your bosom? Growing...growing...until it consumes you, and fills you with a sense of peace...security? Now...have you ever prayed, and felt so empty? As if you've done something terribly, terribly wrong? Felt the coldness seep into your skin, until you feel like screaming--crying--anything that you think will stop the horrifying pain? ...The pain of loneliness? Ah, but I fear that I have already said too much concerning myself. And I'm sure that no one truly cares about what some "crazed" and "babbling" young woman is thinking and/or feeling...in fact...you probably have not even read to this point, having stopped somewhere in the middle, or beginning to shake your head and sigh in irritation, thinking, "I have no time to read useless rambling!" ...But everyone always has the time to put one down that is truly feeling this way...feeling the sickening cold of loneliness... And everyone else is too busy rushing about to truly discern as to why we feel this way...but always taking the time to exploit it. And once again...I fear I have said too much... | |||||
