I guess I could be considered a new writer, since I only started writing again about two years ago. It hasn't been until this year that I finally started posting any of my work. The types of stories I really enjoy writing are romances. I'm a hopeless romantic and most of my stories (okay, all) are filled with really sappy romance. I draw inspiration from a lot of things, but mainly from music. I can hear a song and it will give me an idea where I produce an entire story from just one lyric.

I like to write out all of my stories before I even post them, the reason being I'm a bit of a perfectionist. Even after I finish my story, I go back and edit and change things around. I also don't write the story straight through, I kind of jump around and write different parts (probably not the best idea). I know I'll never write professionally and I don't have as much talent as others out there, but writing is something I really enjoy and can do for fun. I hope that people will enjoy my work regardless.

As for my poetry...well, let's just say I'm not big on poetry. I don't ever sit down to write poetry like I do stories. Most poetry just happens when I'm upset about something...thus my inability to write any happy poetry.

I go to college at Georgia Tech and I'm currently majoring in Computer Science.

I love music. Although I can't sing or play any instruments, it's a huge part of my life. I have a 60 GB video iPod with 10,000+ mp3s on it and growing. I love all types of music: pop, R&B, country, reggae, opera, soul, jazz, dance, swing, classical, 80's, techno, j-pop, trance, alternative, Christian, big band, celtic, Broadway, gospel, gothic rock and even gregorian chants!!

Favorite Artists: Sweetbox & Mariah Carey are my absolute favorites. I also like Anthony Callea, Rachael Lampa, Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, Do, Joss Stone, Savage Garden, Linkin Park, Vanessa Amorosi, Rachelle Ferrell, Sarah Connor, Evanescence, and more. I have over 600 different artists on my iPod, so it's kind of hard to choose sometimes.
