A Bit About Deus

Real Name (kinda): P.T.
Aliases: Oh, you probably don't even care by now.
Age: Of job age (A little "A Clockwork Orange" joke)
Sex: Please! Er... I mean male. Yeah. Male.
Ethnicity: Well, dating back to the last generation of my family, I'm Irish-German-African-American
Political Standing: Over there.
Favorite Author and Book: "Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates," by Tom Robbins
Favorite-Type Peoples:
-Alex, who is probably the most inspiring person I know, and a way-beyond talented artist (PerhapsArchimedes on FictionPress; check her out)
-Eugene/Joseph, my ultra-hyper and ultra-creepy buisness partner (Quixotic Transcendence on FictionPress; he still needs to post something)
-Bert, who despite his loudness, is probably the funniest damn person on the face of the Earth
-Erik, who I ditched back in Virginia along with Drew (I appologize, dudes)
-My Dad, who doesn't want me to write, and who is probably one of the smartest dumb people I know
-My Mom, who taught me everything I know about philosophy and not following your dreams
-My grandfather Oscar, who is the only person in my family I really got to know, simply because he's a fellow poet and a compassionate soul (although a bit... krazy)
-My guitars, because they're the only ones who understands me (our conversations are so damn provocative, too)
Favorite Artists/Bands: King Crimson, Grateful Dead, 3, Tally Hall, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johan Sebastien Bach, Beck, Coheed and Cambria, The Mars Volta, Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, 311, System of a Down, Living Colour, Jimi Hendrix. It's a pretty eclectic mix.
Favorite Colors: Black, red, grey, and orange
Favorite Movies: "Harold and Maude," "Clerks," "Pink Floyd's The Wall," "Lord of War," "Eraserhead," "Begotten," and "Evolution"
Favorite Number: 10011100101 (if you were a nerd, you'd kinda see why...)
Favorite Disease: Scurvey!
Favorite Neurotoxin: Whatever my parents keep injecting me with when I have to go night-night

I'm 15 years old. I'm tan-skinned, I wear glasses (just because they're Vogue glasses doesn't mean they're girly...), and I'm about 5'11". I play guitar, write and compose music, listen to a lot of music, and I hate school. I go to school at the UCLS in Chcago, but I don't live in Chicago.

That's really all you have to know. Or, would probably even want to know.

Works in Progress!

Literature/Fiction:

-Alo Reemis (working title): A metaphor-heavy short story about a contract killer on the toughest assignment of his life.
-The Flames of Hell: School is unnecessary. Burn it to the ground.
-Incarceration (The rest WILL NOT BE POSTED ON FP): A novel (yes, novel) about confinement.

Dead Projects:

-Forgotten Junk
-Adventures In My Hard-Drive
-Red Shift

Status Updates

5/08/05-- I'm currently working on many projects, and have tons of finished works to show off,but thanks to the 3-day waiting period, none shall be displayed until the 10th o' May, around 2:44 PST. Whatever that means. Yeah. That's about it for today.

5/10/05-- A'ight. Now we're in buisness. Now we're cruisin' right along. I just put up some of my older works of poetry. Enjoy. Oh, and don't forget to leave a review!

6/08/05-- Okay, y'all. My computer was on the fritz for a few weeks due to large amounts of viral activity screwing um mah computer. But now, I'm back! I put some new poems up (Some better than others (much writer's block as of late)), so check them out, and please review them. Remember: your reviews make it possible for me to improve my writing. So, without reviews, I get no inspiration. Yeah.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I'm back! I missed you all so much. Seriously.

6/12/05-- I just realized that I've been putting all of my dates down as mm/dd/04 rather than mm/dd/05. But that's not important.

Just wanted to say to all of my loyal fans (all two of you) that I should have a very large batch of work coming in this week and next week. M'kay. Cool. I'ma go to bed now, 'cause I'm writing this at about 11-o'-clock, and when I work this late, my english and gramar dont not getttt too gooodd much, so c u latr pplzzzx.,.

9/19/05-- Soooo...

School's in session, so I should be posting more often. Makes sense? No! Makes dollars! (Sorry, Joseph)

10/07/05-- Tigah Tigah Woods, y'all

Got a couple more poems out, as well as a new chapter of "Work, Rest..." and more is sure to come.

I had to write a memoir for my Humanities class which I might put up, or not. Whatever. We'll see how that goes.

God bless, peace, and stuffs.

12/14/05-- Ev'ry thing's alright, uptight and outta sight...

Haven't been here in awhile, eh? I'm back. Yay. Rejoice. Rejoice, please. Please?

I put up some new stuff. I think it's not bad, actually. And tomorrow, I get some of my work published at "Antithesis Common" (http://geocities.com/antithesiscommon/). My parents are proud for the first time in ages. What with my crappy grades, and the authoritarian reign of my evil overlords. I kid. Seriously, though. This is insane. Mainly because I can't get anything below an A. B+. Grounded. B. Grounded. B+. Grounded. Simply because it's not an A. Damn. I'm losin' it over here. One of these days, bam, I'm outta here. Gone. For good. Offed, 86ed, iced, smoked, done. I can't put up with this crap. And reading isn't enough, oh no. I have to be 100 at every freakin' thing. I write pretty well (I think O.o), I play guitar well enough, I can draw well, I have a good understanding of all of the crap I need to learn, but I'm just flat-out bored. School bores me. The only refuge I have is Humanities and Science class. Now I'm done ranting.

Jazz isn't dead, it just smells funny.

1/18/06-- Back Again, but Nothing New...

Just calling to say hi. How are ya, FP? Haven't talked to you in a while, eh? Well, I'm just calling to say I've returned. Call me back, if you want. DA has my number if you can't remember it. Later much. Peace!

3/11/06-- The Return: Stoned Points

Yeah, I'm back. Again. For the second time. Or third. All that's new is my new essay, "Stoned Points." Go ahead and check it out. It's like a philosophical talk, a-la"Protagoras and Meno."

8/21/06-- Holy Shits

Alright, once again, I'm back again, once again, once more, for about the fifth time. I haven't really been writing as much, but only because I've been composing some stuff for my (dying) band.

I've written four new poems/songs, two of them more "stream-of-consciousness" style poems, two of them just kind of... surreal, in a sense. Check them out. And leave reviews. Please. Please? - sob -

12/2/06-- Last Entry Thingy

Well, guys, it's been fun. Due to... complications, I'm not going to be posting here, ever again, officially on the first day of the new year of 2007. I hope whoever the hell's been reading my drivel enjoyed it, and that my linguaphilia kept you interested for awhile. Farewell, my sweet FictionPress.
