It was awesome to talk with you guys. =) 7/12/12: I'm back, baby doll! Now that I've graduated, expect to see updates way more often. =) Note on Plagiarism: Some of my friends on this site (e.g. angels and effects and SamanthaNicole) have taken down their work because of the wave of plagiarism that has been going around. First of all, I want to say that I completely support their decisions. Second of all, and I say this with emphasis, plagiarism is NOT okay. Both at my high school and here at Cornell, plagiarism is taken as an incredibly serious offense. Not to mention that it's illegal. If you're doing it, you will get caught - it's a very obvious crime, especially when the story in question is widely read. That being said, if anyone ever sees a plagiarized version of one of my stories, please let me know immediately. And to any would-be plagiarizers reading this, if you steal my work, I will hunt you down and take legal action. To everyone else, much love! SKoW Website: http://skowawards.com/index.php My Website: http://www.freewebs.com/comparativeadvantage/index.htm Who is woodstock1969, anyway? I'm 23 and I live in Massachusetts, though I spent the last four years at college in upstate New York. I'm a massive band geek and very proud of it. =) Music is my passion, and I'm completely addicted to hockey. My friend Kevin once said that I'm "verbose." He was probably right. Rest in peace, Kevin, and may the Good Lord hold your soul in the palm of His hand forever more. I manage a romance C2 on this site called "Love: the Breath of Life." If you're interested in being on staff, just send me a personal message. I'm always looking for new people! My work: Mutually Assured Destruction: (In Progress) I wanted my sophomore year of college to go as smoothly as possible. Too bad Asher Ives showed up and ruined it. Maybe it's my fault for drinking with the marching band, but blaming Asher is much easier. The stubborn Texan drummer is the bane of my existence. My reason for hating him is simple: I made the mistake of hooking up with him. Confessions of a Former Chew Toy: COMPLETE! When I found out that Tully, my estranged childhood best friend, was rooming with my ex, the overly opinionated, rich tool, I knew that things were bound to get awkward. It doesn’t help matters that the frat boy won’t stop hitting on me, the French girl down the hall is driving me nuts, and all the guys I know have apparently been struck by an epidemic of male PMS. I really didn't want my freshman year of college to be this complicated. Links: Cornell University Map: http://www.cornell.edu/maps/large.cfm Six Weeks With Satan: COMPLETE! It should have been the best summer ever for Lotte: a six week tour with her choir in Europe. The bad news: her infuriating (but sexy) nemesis, Kurt, is coming along as well. Lotte can't even spend six minutes with him, so how is she supposed to survive for six weeks? I Still Believe: COMPLETE! Here's a summary: Abby, the sixteen year old who has never been kissed, still believes in true love despite her lack of sucess in the area of romance. She's just waiting for her prince charming to arrive. The question is, has she yet to meet him, or has she known him all along? Falling for a Falsity: HIATUS. Sorry folks. Here's a short summary: A romance based on William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Bea is a man-hater. Ben is a womanizer. On top of this, they hate each other because of a prank that he pulled in sophomore year. What happens when their meddling friends trick them into loving each other? Guarding Her Broken Heart: INDEFINITE HIATUS. Lieve's had her heart broken so many times that she swears off guys indefinitely. Can Wade, the charming, sensitive, gorgeous, new boy in town, penetrate her defenses and prove to her that not all men are pigs? I've also got a lot of poetry and a few essays, although I haven't posted any of my more recent poetry, which I honestly think is far better than my older stuff. I have some ideas for oneshots, so I might post some of them in the future. I hope you enjoy my stories! Oh yes, and please read and review! Much love and God bless you all, woodstock1969 "Come over the hills and far with me, "Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends." For the record, I'm completely aware that my profile is hopelessly unoriginal. Sorry. | |||||||
