Author has written 31 stories for Love, Song, Life, Play, Religion, Nature, Friendship, Politics, General, Essay, Romance, and War.

Update - 3/30/08: For some unknown reason, fictionpress has taken it upon itself to delete all of the formatting marks I had added to break up the sections in my chapters. I am now officially pissed.

Update - 3/16/08: Eden Jensen was the runner up in the category of Best Supporting Character in the SKoW round 5 awards! Thank you so much to all those who voted for me! I'm truly honored. There's a neat graphic that goes along with it, but I have no idea how to upload it. If I try to put it on the profile image thing, it ends up getting cut off, as it is a rectangle as opposed to a square.

Anyway, with regards to the new story idea (posted below), I've been debating whether a Model UN camp is the best route to go. I've been toying around with other ideas, but I'm still uncertain. If anyone has any ideas for a sort of summer program that would involve people from different countries, please send me a PM.

Update: - 2/11/08: I've got an idea cooking for a story to start after Six Weeks With Satan is finished. It's not really fleshed out yet, but here's the tentative summary:

“When I found out that my childhood best friend, whom I have not seen in years, was rooming with my ex, who happens to be a notorious, rich, bigot, I knew that the summer was bound to get interesting. It doesn’t help matters that I’m salivating over a Russian, the Belgian guy won’t stop hitting on me, and the French girl down the hall is driving me nuts. Whoever would have thought that there would be so much drama at Model UN Camp of all places?”

Does that sound any good to you guys? Send me a PM and let me know what you think.

Who is woodstock1969, anyway?

I'm 18, and I live in Massachusetts. I'd rather not write my real name in such a public space, but if you're really curious, just drop me a personal message. I love writing, reading, photography, film, drawing, German, biology, baseball (particularly the Red Sox), spending time with friends, and God. I have a slight obsession with economics as well...

There aren't a whole lot of things that I dislike, to be honest. The only things that I can think of are waiting in line, airports in general, ignorance, and arrogance. I'm also a hopeless romantic, which I suppose is obvious by the romance stories that I write.

In terms of favorites, my favorite film is The Shining, my favorite books are The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Sorrows of Young Werther by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, and Eat the Rich by P.J. O'Rourke, my favorite colors are blue and green, and my favorite band is The Beatles.

My family members are pretty bizarre, but I love them anyway. My mom's side is very large, very loud, and very German. My dad's side is slightly more normal (but not in any way conventional) and is largely based in Canada. I'm just the product of all this madness.

That's probably more than you ever wanted to know about me.

I manage a romance C2 on this site called "Love: the Breath of Life." If you're interesed in being on staff, just drop me a personal message. I'm always looking for new people!

I'll just give a word about my work:

Six Weeks With Satan: (My newest romance story) It should have been the best summer ever for Lotte: a six week tour with her choir in Europe. The bad news: her infuriating (but sexy) nemesis, Kurt, is coming along as well. Lotte can't even spend six minutes with him, so how is she supposed to survive for six weeks?

I Still Believe: COMPLETE! Here's a summary: Abby, the sixteen year old who has never been kissed, still believes in true love despite her lack of sucess in the area of romance. She's just waiting for her prince charming to arrive. The question is, has she yet to meet him, or has she known him all along?

Falling for a Falsity: HIATUS. Sorry folks. Here's a short summary: A romance based on William Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Bea is a man-hater. Ben is a womanizer. On top of this, they hate each other because of a prank that he pulled in sophomore year. What happens when their meddling friends trick them into loving each other?

Guarding Her Broken Heart: INDEFINITE HIATUS. Lieve's had her heart broken so many times that she swears off guys indefinitely. Can Wade, the charming, sensitive, gorgeous, new boy in town, penetrate her defenses and prove to her that not all men are pigs?

I've also got a lot of poetry and a few essays. I have some ideas for oneshots, so I might post some of them in the future. I also have an idea brewing for a new story after Six Weeks With Satan is finished, but I don't know if I'll pursue it yet.

I hope you enjoy my stories! Oh yes, and please read and review! If it's any motivation, I tend to look at the work of my reviewers and try to give them feedback as well. Also, if you want help or a beta or something, just ask! I'd be more than happy to oblige.

There's much more to me than I can type up. Please read my work and review. I would really appreciate that.

Much love and God bless you all,

woodstock1969

"Come over the hills and far with me,
And be my love in the rain."
~ Robert Frost

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in right paths
for His Name's sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
I fear no evil;
for you are with me..."
~ Psalm 23.1-4

For the record, I'm completely aware that my profile is hopelessly unoriginal. Sorry.

It should have been the best summer ever: a six week tour with my choir through six major cities in Europe. Sounds amazing, right? I thought so too, until I remembered who was going with me: Kurt Matthews, my obnoxious, infuriating nemesis. Oh joy.
