Author has written 1 story for General. G'Day!! I have such a passion for writing and when I get an idea I jump on it and keep going. Unfortunatly, my creativity has been rather lax since I competed my first fan fiction based on the television show, Charmed, which one can find on fanfiction.net authored by myself. I do carry the same screen name here as I do there. Now a days, I have a deep yearning to write a novel, but I have no inspiration. It is hard to think of a plot that has not been used yet by another author. I have started a children's book about a crocodile whose life is in danger and whose friends help save him, and I would like that published to help spread the word of wildlife conservation. I'm not sure if I want it to be a children's story or a children's book. I would love to write a novel and be published, but again, I can't think of a plot that has not yet been used. I do have one novel in the works, but as of right now my ideas have gone dry and it does have a tragic ending, which many readers I feel will not read. It involves a set of twins who have a bit of magic in them, though magic isn't the main plot. It might be a good book if I just would get through the "shitty first draft", but it might be too intense for kids. It'd be more of a young adult book. If only I was as brilliant as Philip Pullman or C.S. Lewis or Brian Jacques, or as brilliant as my sister. So, onto things. When the summer holidays come around, I will hunt for the conclusion of Flight to Freedom, which I believe is somewhere in my room at home, or in a long lost drawer somewhere. As of now, I will continue my draft of Firesong (the working title for my book about the twins) and see where it takes me. I will also begin my crocodile children's book. So, for readers who have enjoyed my fan fictions, I thank you. I hope in the near future I can post a chapter or two of Firesong so people may preview and I might see how they react.
