Author has written 3 stories for Young Adult, and Politics. Contact: LiveJournal, Xanga, Facebook, E-mail My pen name is Magnesium and I'm often known as cykia, but my given name is Bianca. I'm a seventeen year old living in Hong Kong. I've tried to write many stories, but has finished only one -- She Was Everything, a murder story which did not make much sense -- when I was thirteen. General hobbies: Apart from reading (more about that later) and listening to music, I like knitting, the internet and Postsecret. I knit regularly and I actually knit for charity as well as send my scarves to my friends for Christmas presents. My other passions include science & maths and baking. I have a Livejournal that I update pretty regularly. Books: My favourite writers are Sylvia Plath (The Bell Jar, Ariel), John Grisham (Bleachers, Rainmaker, Runaway Jury), Agatha Christie (Death on the Nile, ABC Murders, Death Comes As the End)and Jerry Spinelli (Stargirl, Maniac Magee, There's a Girl in My Hammerlock). I also like Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower and S.E. Hinton's The Outsiders. I also read non-fiction, mostly Physics and Maths books. Television: I used to watch very little TV, but I did grow up with the sitcom Married... With Children, which aired from 1987 to 1997. My favourite on-going shows are Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, Samantha Who? and The Big Bang Theory. I mostly watch Japanese dramas, though. Movies: My favourites are romantic comedies like Knocked Up and thrillers like Rendition and V For Vendetta, but I enjoy the occasional chick flick (John Tucker Must Die and Mean Girls were hilarious) nonetheless.
