-cackles gleefully-

Believe me, it is not meant to make sense.

You don't want to know anything about me @..@

Bleh... for anyone bothering to read this:

I am female, which means I'm a girl. Oh dear, how strange right? As for my name... well. That's just a happy little mystery, isn't it?

Favorite Stuff: Anime, rock music, RPGs, fantasy, swords, drawing, creatures, dragons/gryphons/just-about-any-mythical-creature-because-they-are-so-awesome, and many other things that I can't think of right now for various reasons. BOOKS!!

I will read just about anything; I don't much care what the characters are, who or what they're coupled together with romance-wise (guys, gals, rabbits and monkeys; whatever), what the genre is, etc. as long as it has a good story line, is well written, and doesn't drag on and on and on. In other words, it just has to keep my interest.

Favorite Authors: Jim Butcher, R.A. Salvatore, Mercedes Lackey, Andre Norton, Rachel Caine, Kim Harrison, and several, several others I could name if I weren't too lazy to go and look at my bookshelf...

Favorite books are too numerous to name, so I shall have to skip that one for the time being.

My sister still has a story up that's pretty interesting (she claims she'll never continue. Shame on her). She's at http://www.fictionpress.com/~ascendtoshadows

Don't know why, but she said she thinks my writing is better than hers. I really don't think so... and someone really outta convince her to continue...

My younger sister also has an account. She went by the name BewareTheCowOfDOOM, but changed it to ThyEvilMonkeyChild.

Insult of the Year 2008: The hills are alive and they're mocking you... It's pathetic that I have yearly insults, I know.

And a thank you to everyone who's reviewed my stuff, it makes me very... happy? Emotionally lightened?

That kind of stuff...

Note: T&S probably won't be updated for a while because... I'm playing with it some (a lot). Just so you know...

Things I REALLY dislike ('cause I happen to be in a bad mood right now):

When someone says "I told you so," especially when it is over a matter that is important. It makes me want to strangle something.

When someone comes up with some stupid, BULLSHIT ASSUMPTION based on absolutely NOTHING at all. It makes me want to go up to that person and whack 'em on the head with a 2x4. Fortunately for them I'm not usually that violent.

People who don't let you finish what you're saying; you try to tell them something, but before you're even half-way through they assume the worst and storm off in a snarly huff. Idiots.

Computer storage devices. Recently, I was working on a story I'd been writing for about a year now, and for some reason, BAM, some FREAKIN' ERROR SHOWS UP AND I LOSE THE ENTIRE DAMN THING!! It tried to rescue the document, but guess what? IT USED FREAKIN' NOTEPAD!! I HAD IT ON WORD!! IT SCREWED THE HELL UP. And now I have a document that is nothing but STUPID QUESTION MARKS BECAUSE IT COULDN'T READ WHAT I'D HAD. So bye bye, my lovely little story, bye bye. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll be able to recall enough of it that I can rewrite the thing decently. It was only 30 pages long, but it had over 30,000 words on it. I am currently in a bloody murdering rage. There is a very slight chance (!!) I'll be able to recover the thing, but at the moment, it doesn't look like it's going to happen. And my main character was so adorable too... Wait... I FOUND IT!! YAY!!

And so ends my most recent dislikes.

The Only Thing I Really Don't Like In Most Stories: When you kill off the main character (in whatever sense of the word you wanna take; death, insanity, etc.) of the story. If you're gonna kill 'em, the least you can do is reincarnate them or something! Or ressurect them! Sheesh. One of my favorite trilogies, the main character was killed at the end, and I seriously cried (this was years ago, by the way). But it wasn't the end of the story. I read on, unhappy, and the next thing I know, he comes back! As a ghost, sure, but that's not the point. I was very happy. And then he shows up again in two other trilogies later on and I'm all like YAY!!

This is why I hate most tragedies. The problem I have is that, if I really like the story, it's basically kinda sorta like you fall in love with the character, and when they die, well you get kind of depressed and wanna bawl your eyes out. I am that type!!

Shocking, I know.

Ahem. Anyway, moving on...

Random Statements: Reality's boring... and the city I live in is cursed. Seriously, it is. If you lived in it you would agree. (hinthintweatherhinthint)

"And always remember children; do not blow up any toilets without good reason, and when doing so, make sure your fuse is long, sugar is not your enemy, and that the banana that's been sitting in the corner of your room for the past three years has its own civilization."

"Rock-a-bye human, on a rooftop, when the wind blows, beware the long drop, and if the roof breaks, then watch out below, for here comes a human, roof tiles in tow..."

"He's younger than you!" - me

"He wasn't when I loved him..." - my sister, in response

"If I tell someone to jump off a cliff, and someone else says "That's mean!", I'll say "No, that's sympathy."" - my brother

"You know how pirates are always searching for some booty? Yeah..." - me

"Those must be some lonely old men." - my sister, in response

Some live, some die; only I survive...

Okay, I had planned on spending a bit of time this summer working on my stories...

Instead I went an bought a house.

So I am working on my stuff...just not as much as I'd planned.

Buying a house is a bitch.
