It just dawned on me that my FanFiction account has an original (if you can call it that...) pen-name, and my FictionPress account was a name with things I'm a fan of... I'm a bit slow. So anyway, I'm Ivy Shoelaces now, which sounds like some parents' cruel joke to their offspring, but I like the image it has, and how it sounds, so humph. (I like run-on sentences!) EDIT OVER! Y'know, I could just sit here and type up lies, but I'm not that kind of person. Hi, my name is Kate. I'm 18. My birthday is July 27th. I live in Eastern Ohio, in between two itty-bitty towns you've probably never heard of. I have three turtles, and three siblings. My obsessions include: Edward Scissorhands, Pan's Labyrinth, Coraline, Moulin Rouge!, Galaxy Quest, Dr Strangelove, singing, music (my first love), reading (a close second), writing, drawing, etc., etc. I cannot live without music. If it's not playing in real life, it's playing in my head. I love all kinds of real music, just not rap, country, hip-hop, crap like that. People have to be SINGING, not whining or shouting, and there has to be NOTES. I love and collect movie soundtracks, cuz you can't find much classical music in the land of Jamboree in the Hills (Redneck, recurring Woodstock, five miles from my house!! Every year for a week!!). I've tried to write stories, all ending up to be one-page, unfinished heaps of rubbish, so I only post poetry. It's (to me) easier to write, and much shorter, too. This may change, once my attention span lengthens to over two minutes. But don't count on it. I don't care what anyone says, but I love cartoons! My favorites are The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Invader ZIM, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Chowder, etc. I have an account on FanFiction.
