Author has written 12 stories for Fantasy, Young Adult, Humor, Supernatural, and Romance.

Pretend you have just picked up one of my books and turned immediately to the back cover for my bio instead of clicked a button to land on this Profile Page. Pretend you have just seen a very attractive and likely photoshopped picture of mine followed by a giant, yet rather appealing blurb of text about my life.

Here is the blurb. Sadly, the picture will have to wait until I actually publish a book:

James Hiwatari is a Brazilian bisexual trans man who lives in Glasgow and has been writing stories for almost half his (admittedly short) life. He used to play football before two untimely injuries (and his lack of physical height) prematurely ended his career. He then turned to music, and nowadays likes to pretend he can play clarinet, cello and viola. He is sure he can play the recorder, though. Somewhere along the line James learned a thing or two about the art of Japanese-style drawing.

James has been an LGBT (emphasis on the last two letters) activist since around 2009. He likes anything that challenges social norms and challenges people’s perception of reality. He likes to talk about and play with gender, sexuality, endless possibilities of plotlines and chocolate.

James is fluent in Portuguese and English. He has enough knowledge of Italian and Japanese to survive for a couple of days and can read entire books in Spanish (though every time he tries to speak Spanish it comes out as Italian). He is currently trying to get a basic grasp of Icelandic and Hungarian. His plans for the future include learning Czech and Russian.

And here is a very short blurb made not for a book, but for shameless advertising pamphlets. It's all about how you can get in touch and know more about my other stories, projects, and life in general.

In other words, stuff for stalkers and curious people.

Want to read more about James’s other projects and his life in general?

Or even want to send him some hate mail because his story sucks (polite language is encouraged in any circumstance)?

Below are all the possible ways you can contact him or stalk his life and that of his creations. It’s not a particularly extensive list, but there’s plenty of stuff to keep you busy:
