Okay, it's been a VERY long time since I updated here. College classes have kept me so busy I haven't had much time to write anything, plus a lot of my inspiration these past few months has been for art rather than literature. I have a few more essays from my English class this term that I plan to upload and a new Christmas poem for the Christmas Cards collective. On another note my homepage has been given a drastic and much needed makeover. It's smaller now, but much easier to navigate and for me to maintain. I may add a few more pages still, but that's an idea I am not sure about right now.

Okay, things have been really busy with my first year of college. I also have not had any creative inspiration what-so-ever. I am trying to get a chapter or poem finished to post soon... in the mean time, I apologize for my inactivity.

Okay... so I've been off for a while. I'll make up for it though because of two things:
#1. I plan to try an post something, whether it be poem or new chapter on a story, at least every week.
#2. I have two new poems that I want to get up ASAP so you are garenteed some new work coming out very soon.
Also, I realized something. When I remodled my website (which I may not have mentioned on here) I deleted my e-mail address off of it. Because of that I am putting it here for the time being until I can finish adding all the new pages to the site and figure where to put it now. It will be in the about me stuff below.

Wow. It's been a while since I put anything up here. I went to my e-mail and found a ton of new reviews, even though they were from the same person reading them made me happy. I know it's been a while since I published anything new, but I haven't had any inspiration very recently. I'll try to get something new up here soon, be it poem or chapter or addition to a collective.
About Me (Not that anyone is really going to care... but here it is.):
Name: Matt (nothing more can be said for protection of my identity)
Age: 18
Grade: College Freshman
Birthday: July 7
Hobbies: Acting, Drawing, Playing the Violin, Reading... anything else that might interest me.
Number of Siblings: 3, Two brothers (Joey age 13 and Peter age 24) and a sister (Sarah, my twin, age 18)
Other Stuff: My author name here comes partly from the fact that I love summer and have a summer birthday; and also from my love of Snoopy and the Peanuts comic strip. Hence I am beachbeagle rather than beachboy. Feel free to tell me what you really think about my work. I will accept a negative review, I just don't always like getting them. But I am very open about accepting what people say and will take all suggestions into account. I will, however, NOT pay attention to a review that says to change something and offers no suggestions as to what to change. I HATE getting reviews like that and will probably not change what they tell me to unless someone else or they give me some more of an indication of what they want.
Edit to info: Also, do not assume that my work is based off of something. Even if what you've read sounds like something else you've seen, read, or heard of I garuntee you that my only influences are my friends Lilyluna, Mia Tune, Norna, Mari_ Keeper of Chaos, ketsuekikoushoku... and others who don't write on the fictionpress site. Other than that they are completly original. I got a rather upseting review recently that made me decide to bring this issue out into the open so that I don't end up with a repeat situation.
Works in progress:
Wings of Fate:
One kidnapped fairy, a strange prophecy, and unsolved mysteries in the history of the faries of Lashadas lead seven fairies on a quest ending in a battle that will change their world forever.
Ghosts of Memory:
In a world where magic is illegal, ten teens with magic powers escape discovery. They, like all others, are erased from exsistance. And in this case, being no one means there is no one to turn, and nowhere to hide from the sinister evil that's after them.
The Game Begins:
For the nine teens playing this game... winning is truely a matter of life or death.
To Be Started:
Summer of the Elements:
Four kids go off to summer camp and discover an adventure that will change their lives forever.
The Seven Deadly Sins:
Seven chapters, each based on a different kid tempted by a deadly sin in personified form plus a prologue and epilogue that bring what all seven did together with a central plot revolving around a girl who's life they affect. How do they affect her life and who influences her final actions the most?... you'll have to read it to find out.
More info to come on these and other works I may come up with. Keep tuned in for any updates that may turn up and watch for them coming out on the site.
P.S. any suggestions for my works in progress are welcome and can be e-mailed to me.
Quotes From The Doghouse (Favorite Quotes): Many people seem to have these sections, so I'm adding one of my own to my look-up. Though my collection is MUCH larger, I put only a few up here to prevent my look-up from getting too long.
In my opinion, you don't have to read every quote a person has. You only have to read those that inspire you. Hope you enjoy mine.
