What is so great about discovery? It is a violent, penetrative act that scars what it explores. What you call discovery... I call the rape of the natural world. - Ian Malcolm, Jurassic Park

I am what I am.

But what exactly AM I? Why, that's an enigma even to me.
I wish I could define all the thoughts that cross my mind (I got that from one of Nick Carter's songs, "Help Me". 3) and decipher all the riddles that I miss the mark to, though the mind is a complex system.
As Ian Malcolm implies in Jurassic Park, "chaos theory is simply the study of unpredictability in complex systems."
Of course, I can cover the basics, such as interests and personality because that's what most of you are into, yeah?
Now, let's see... Where were we?
Well, that's one thing about me. I tend to beat around the bush and almost always stop to cover the details and add little tidbits in anything I talk about.

We're not pretending to feel affection. We don't even like them; they certainly don't like us. So if both parties only want sex why don't we just say so and cut out all the embarassing preliminaries? - Theo Faron, The Children of Men

BUT. I suppose we'll start with a name. :)
To the fellow Interneters, my pseudonym is Zan.
Where did I come up with that?
Well, it derives from my middle name, which is Alex-ZAN-Dra.
Comprendes? Goodie. I'm glad you have brains, 'cause I don't see a lot of those. ;)
HOWEVER.
Since I also have real life friends here on this icky site, they know me as... well, I won't tell you.
There's a reason why I have a pseudonym.
But I'm sure you'll find it somewhere in the bulletins or in my comments, 'cause Kiara (whom just so happens to be the bee's knees enough to be my NUMBA UNO) mentions it often. :0

This place is such a mess; sometimes I think I'd like to watch it burn. - "Cinderella" by the Wallflowers

Besides my tendency to NEVER get to the point, I'm a very open-minded person.
I'm very prone to others' opinions and more than willing to stand at your mindset and consider your point of view.
It isn't often that people give me convincing reasons for such a view point, though, since I'm very highly opinionated as well, which really is an odd mix of traits.
Also, personality-wise, I'm anti-social/socially inept.
And the reason being is that most of my peers and the people that I know just aren't very appealing to me.
I find an insane abundance of those who are stereotypical, egotistical, close-minded, immature...
I honestly don't have very much tolerance for people.
Ironically enough, though, I do find the human mind fascinating, and I often like to link it to the quote that Ian Malcolm said about complex systems, even if he was referring to systems like amusement parks and such. :)
Besides this, I am also NOT the sweetest thing in the candy shop, much like my beloved role playing character, Billy.
I am overaly analytical, finding the complexities in even the simplest of things.
I'm strong-willed.
AND I have the ability to crush self-esteems and deflate egos. ;) Just kidding.
Oh, and I'm not a walking stereoptype NOR is it my goal in life to fit in.

You can't change who people are without destroying who they were. - Jason Treborn, The Butterfly Effect

I adore doing different things during my free time and whenever I'm not fighting hand-to-hand combat with homework/school.
For example, I enjoy:
- Writing and reading, which always seems to walk hand-in-hand. 3
- Role playing with my amazing characters, Billy, Tod, Bosco, and others. 3
- Visiting the local library and merely browsing.
- Sleeping.
- Hanging out with my friends in the occasional times I get the chance.
- Talking with fellow Internet buddies. :)
- Watching movies of depth.
- Listening to the Backstreet Boys incessantly.

Equal... in death's eyes? All of us? How can you say that? Dude, think it through: Charlie Manson, made it to 70, Osama, still kicking. Pimps, vice presidents, walking around, all the atrocities they've commited, they're still alive and well. These two girls, who never did shit to anybody, they don't get to make it to 18. Where's the fucking equality in that? - Ian McKinley, Final Destination 3

There are also various things I want to achieve throughout the duration of my life.
Though some seem a bit extravagant and may as well be unreachable, but most of them are things I plan to do.
But it's not so bad to dream nonetheless. :
- Write a novel.
- Visit the Alamo.
- Make a difference in someone's life.
- Live with a gay friend and write about my experience. Hehe.
- Meet every special person I've met on the Internet.
- Ask all the questions that have crossed my mind.
- Help a small population improve their writing abilities.
- Confess my Atheism to my mom.
- Pursue a true father figure.
- Break my habit of procrastination and biting my nails.

Sadness is beautiful; loneliness is tragical. So help me, I can't win this war... - "The Shape of My Heart" by the Backstreet Boys
