I'm Ivy and I love to write. I've written many stories and poems and my poem Draped is featured in a book called A Surrender to the Moon. I love to read and I prefer Christian Fiction and fantasy above all else. Included on this site is an old fantasy story that I wrote nearly 4 years ago about a young girl with a stunning power that many would stop at nothing to claim. My big project that I'm working on at the moment is a Christian Fiction piece called "Day of Fire." In Day of Fire I wanted to present the fact that not only are those around you judging you, but God is also--in everything you do. I chose to take one character and see how far I could stretch him into believing this by basing the story off 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 which says:

"But if people build on that foundation, using gold, silver, jewels, wood, grass, or straw, their work will be clearly seen, because the Day of Judgment will make it visible. That Day will appear with fire, and the fire will test everyone's work to show what sort of work it was. If the building that has been put on the foundation still stands, the builder will get a reward. But if the building is burned up, the builder will suffer loss. The builder will be saved, but it will be as one who escaped from a fire."

This is by far one of my biggest pieces and I'd really like to know what others think. So please feel free to comment on any of my stories--I can learn a thing or two from constructive criticism. ;-)
