Hullo all. I see you have stumbled apon my bio, and (hopefully!) my writings. A little about me:

I am nearly sixteen at the time of writing this.
I am in love with the Harry Potter series.
I left Fictionpress some years ago after an argument with a friend over my writing that left me discouraged.
I am back because I am looking for some feedback on some stories I've had in my head for years.
I hope to add more poems to my poem book VERY soon, as I have written a lot this past year in school.

What I hope to accomplish on Fictionpress:

I am now going into my junior year of high school and have had a few ideas in my head for a book series since I was in the eighth grade. I recently started putting those ideas down on paper and making a few links and now I've come here to get some feedback on some of the things.

I probably won't update very quickly. I tend to retain ideas, so it could take up to a month for me to finally decide to sit down and write. Hence why it took me nearly three years to start this project of mine. In the hopes of actually getting this working, I am hoping to get a beta. I feel that if I can find someone willing to look at my work, then I shouldn't dissapoint them by lagging behind on my writing. I'm on summer break anyway, so I have lots of time.

Some things I would like to work on:

My BIGGEST problem that I have always acknowledged is that I tend to work on stories before I even have a main plot. I work with the characters more. Because I draw inspiration from live people that I see, I think of stories in terms of characters more than actual plot. Therefore I really want to work with myself and figure out how to bend my thinking to actually pick up on worthy plot lines. Make sence? Hope so.

Something I just wanted to add:

I am hopelessly in love with the movie "Here On Earth." It is just your normal, unconvoluted love story that seems to me to be played out much like many poofy stories you would find on here. What really drew me to it was a poem, which has since morphed into my favorite of all time. The poem is by Robert Frost and it is called Birches. I HIGHLY suggest you read the whole thing, but here is my favorite parts from it:

"So I was once myself a swinger of birches;
And so I dream of going back to be.
I'd like to get away from earth a while
And then come back to it and begin over.
I'd like to go by climbing a birch tree,
And climb black branches up a snow-white trunk
Toward heaven, till the tree could bear no more,
But dipped its top and set me down again.
That would be good both going and coming back.
One could do worse than be a swinger of birches."
