About Me:

My name is Kari and I'm 23 years old. I began writing my first book in the seventh grade, and from there discovered that I liked writing. Of course, I never finished it (it's packed away and only pulled out for a good chuckle) but I've written several stories--finished or not--since then, and it's now become passion.

During the first year of high school I wrote poetry, breathed poetry, dreamt poetry. But as my life during those four trying years changed, so did my tastes in writing. Now I write solely fiction. My favorite genres are horror (or rather, dark fantasy) and "regular" fantasy.

Included in this library are some of my older works, and the main piece I'm currently working on. I hope, with luck and inspiration, that there will be more.

The Dancer of Absolon: Centered around Demetre Vazul, a Tinker, the story takes place in a bustling duchy. He finds himself wandering through the market place and comes across another Tinker, a dancing woman shrouded in scarlet. Entranced, he loses himself in her movements and the music.

Under a Pagan Moon: Two lovers meet by the light of the moon and around a fire they dance and fill the night air with music. But unknown to them, they are watched by a mishapened and hideousform lurking in the shadows who has let the thorn of jealously digs even deeper.

The Lady of Inayla (Tentative Title): Auria Rhialen is a priestess of Inayla and is wanted for the skills that only a few have been gifted with. The world around her is torn apart by war, her heart is broken, and she must awaken to her destiny.
