Author has written 3 stories for Historical.

note: as of october 5th, i will be taking a brief hiatus between october 5th to october 31st. this is so i can pay attention to my creative writing profile for a boarding school i am applying to. this also means that "confessionals" will fall from the internet as of october 5th for forever. thank you to all who read the story - all of you have been added in the last chapter. (:

i'm Lira (as in the constellation Lyra). i have so much of the world left to see yet have seen enough to understand reality at my age. i wish i could tell you my current location, but as a dreamer, there is no location - dreamers can only dream so far and wide that there is merely no end to their journey. i write because writing lets me explore more to what life is and what happens when you step beyond the wrapped box of life.

i am a fan of the authors irene nemirovsky, michael ondaatje, jhumpa lahiri, paolo coehlo, khaled hosseni, jodi picoult, doris lessing, ian mcewan, cormac mccarthy, libba bray, philippa gregory, and wally lamb. certainly all of these people have given me inspiration, for no story is original but merely pieces of others tied into your own. when i write, i listen to josh groban, anna nalick, rascal flatts, james blunt, idina menzel, emmanuel moire, coldplay - and weezer (but only when time calls for a party.)

my four stories are currently:
the candle - a story that i thought of for years but never got down solid into words. now that i have, it's like an addiction - take your imagination and print it down. yet this story is on hiatus 'til october 5th.
facade - another story i started writing last year for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) yet could not finish due to time constrictions from a work overload. this is more adventure-like and more gust-y than the rest of my stories, and certainly coming back to this story in little less than a month is quite refreshing.
mon essentiel - a quirky romance story that's not 100 of the way filled with my effort. but i try my best. (:

outside of writing, i am a violinist and have played it for over half of my life; my love for music is definetly a huge impact on my life. foreign cultures, especially european cultures, have always fascinated me and you can probably see that in most of my stories. i would love to one day live in prague, czech republic - a cultured city for the arts and literature in eastern europe - oh, and of course, it is beautiful there!

on the note of reviews: i am not someone who will see your review and review back, thinking it is an obligation. please, do not review just because you want yours reviewed back: i do not follow that rule. i tend to review people whose stories have hardly any reviews because i was once in the same boat and know exactly how that feels. just on a note, that is. i want reviews that intend to change whatever i write - not to have some obligatory action that needs to be returned.
