Author has written 3 stories for Romance. Greetings to all and sundry! And welcome to my little corner of cyberspace...where I am GOD! Or at least where I mess with the lives of my characters who may or may not be real. Hey, I saw Stranger than Fiction, so I know it can happen. Since when have movies lied? About me: For any of those who are wondering, I'm a 26-year-old Masters student living in Upstate New York. I'm fairly boring as an individual, so I let my inner madwoman loose in my stories. About my stories: I never really know what I'm going to write about, but I love contrast and I love irony when it comes to lead characters (couples especially). So you may see total opposites or unmeshable characters mesh in different ways. Mix this together with a little romance (eventually), and you have one of my stories. I am shamelessly in love with Beauty and the Beast, Labyrinth and The Phantom of the Opera, so there will always be some of those elements in whatever I write. About reviews: I love reviews. Be they good or be they bad, they help me grow as a writer. The only favor I ask is that if you feel the need to criticize, please at least tell me why. If get a review that tells me my plot is weak, my characters unrealistic or my grammar needs improvement and perhaps (dare I hope) cites some examples, I consider that constructive. If I get a review that basically states my story sucks and that is it, I consider that a waste of my time and the reviewer's time and it gets erased. About updates: My life is ridiculously busy. I work full time and go to school full time, so yeah, that's the deal with updates. I always have good intentions, but I don't always follow through with them. Everything will be completed, but I don't always have an end date in mind. About stealing my work (or anyone's work, for that matter): I do not pretend that I am in the league of those talented writers who have had their work ripped off here, but I do love my stories and characters. That being said, please do not use anything without my permission or post my work as your own. They are my property and I am very possessive of my property. When you steal from someone, you ruin it for the rest of us who are reading their work. Story status (listed by priority): Fall from Olympus: updated on August 11, 2009. Ch 11/? Almost complete. Chapter 12 is 30 percent written. The Beast's Mouse: updated on January 6, 2009. 3/? No end in sight. Chapter 4 is 40 percent written. I will focus more on this when FFO is completed. To Capture the Moon: updated on August 4, 2009. 2/? No end in sight. Chapter 3 is 0 percent written. This will be updated when inspiration strikes. I plan to write it in a drabble style, so chapters will be fairly short, but numerous. Future projects (no particular order): Return to Olympus - FFO sequel Mere Mortals - a FFO oneshot featuring Nali's sister, Lori, and her romance with Theo. Legend of the Demon King - an aspiring author writes a fiction novel based upon a legend about a powerful demon king. Little does she know, the legend is all too real. Backyard Charlie - a socially dysfunctional woman is wooed by an equally dysfunctional young man. Involves crazy cat ladies, hippies, magic potions and lawn gnome theft. P.S. These are all proposed and in scrap form only, so please don't ask when I will be posting them. Thank you all for reading! | |||||||||
1. Fall From Olympus » reviewsChapter 11 is up! It was a curious thing. As a rule, Alec was not a fan of strip clubs. He usually saw them as a waste of time and money, but Club Olympus had something that the others didn’t, a woman named Persephone. Slight non-con.
