I love to read, and therefore, because I read so much, I feel i need
to contribute to the world of pleasure literature. I favor romance, but
also like fantasy, both to read and write. Any combination of both is awesome!
I love music, and I listen to it constantly. I recently found the Instrumental Piano Solos radio station on iTunes, so that's my current trend, and everything I've written recently has been to it. I also play the oboe.
I'm a sophomore in high school, and I attempt to write in my free time...which is pretty much Friday nights, since I have no social life.
In November, I started working on my Nano for the month, and took December off. I had a random bit of inspiration, so I'm continuing it into January as well. It might be somewhere close to finished over the summer...when I actually have time to write.
The Stories:
Well, right now, there's really only one: my Nano:
A Wish Come True: A story about a girl who makes a wish that changes her life. It's still in it's realitively plotless introductory stages, and at around 20,000 words. I realize that the grammer/spelling/punctuation in it is a bit odd (with a lot of extra spaces...) but that's for word count. I plan on taking some of that out and re wording a bunch of it when I edit it. That's also my excuse for any terribly run on sentences (There's one in Chapter 2, and I think 4, and in 8.)
If you're waiting for updates on it, I promise they will come. I'm still writing it (I just finished chapter 8...) but I have very little time to write. I haven't lost interest, I promise. I also have some major editing to do (especially in chapters 6 and 7, the meetings with the principal) which I will get to, eventually.
Anyway, it's my baby until I start to get really bored of it, which I don't foresee happening in the near future. Yet.
Falling is a short story I wrote for my English class last year. It had to be under 2,000 words. It's pretty bad.
