Author has written 1 story for Romance.

For anyone looking for information on the status of Want, Take, Have:

I'll be blunt: as far as priorities in my life go, WTH is on the back burner. Higher education's gotta come first, guys. And no, you can't possibly be more sorry than I am. I swear, it hurts not being able to continue Sam and David's story like I want to. But anyway...

Simply put, I am still writing. I've got so many different scenes, it's a little insane. And a plus: I know exactly how the story's going to go, right until the very end. It's just a matter of churning out those chapters, which takes time that right now, I don't have a whole hell of a lot of.

So it's coming, guys, I promise. I will finish it, or frickin' die trying (let's hope that doesn't happen, though). If you guys really have a problem, by all means send me a personal message - I do believe FictionPress has that feature now (random, but does anyone miss the old FP? Hands up if you do.)

So guys, happy reading, and hopefully, we'll see Sam and David soon =)

UPDATE (Feb. 06/09):

I've decided to rewrite what I've already got before continuing onward with the plot, and I'll repost everything once I'm finished (see the A/N for more info).

Thanks to everyone who's stuck with me for this long; I hope I do the rewrite justice for you guys =)

Now on with the profile...

Birthdate: 09/20/89

Cordelia: "This is all about me! Me, me, me!"
Xander: "Wow. For once, she's right."
- "Out of Mind, Out of Sight"

In a nutshell: Parents are Guyanese, but Canadian, I am. Born and bred, baby. ;) If you wanna get really specific, Toronto ON is my little neck of the woods. I'm 19 (can vote! can buy lottery tickets! can legally get into rated-R movies! life is good =)), weird, and random. Very random. I'm going into third-year, majoring in Sociology with hopefully a minor in Creative Writing.

Likes: Anything with the name 'Joss Whedon' attached to it; Harry Potter!; chocolate; pretty much anything from Tim Hortons; watching episodes of shows I used to freak over as a kid (i.e. Sailor Moon, Power Rangers, Care Bears); reading; writing (no duh); lots of different kinds of music, I really don't know where to start (seriously, I got a little bit of everything in iTunes); Philosophy and Writer's Craft classes (Gr. 12 was teh awesome); David Boreanaz (-drool-); Jared Padalecki (-heartbeat quickening-); Jensen Ackles (-cardiac arrest-); (pine)apples; the colour red

Favourite YA Authors of all Freaking Time:
~ Libba Bray: A Great and Terrible Beauty, Rebel Angels, The Sweet Far Thing
~ A.J. Butcher: Spy High series (I love, love, love these books and am currently working out a way to actually own them)
~ Sarah Dessen: Someone Like You, Dreamland, That Lullaby, The Truth About Forever, Just Listen, Lock and Key
~ D.J. MacHale: Pendragon series (these books kick serious literary ass - each one is bigger and better than the last, and if there ever were to be "the next Harry Potter", it would (and should) be this)
~ J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter series ("Goblet of Fire", "Order of the Phoenix", and "Deathly Hallows", specifically. Sidenote: JKR = awesome for all time)
~ Scott Westerfeld: Uglies series (particularly the first three that made up the original three - holy crap, so intense)

On Buffy and Angel:
If you haven't figured it out by now (then shame on you, lol), Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel are my favourite shows, so much that it's bordering on obsession. My favourite characters are: Faith Lehane, Cordelia Chase, Xander Harris, Angel(us), Spike, and Lilah Morgan. I love the complexities and evolutions of these characters (of all the characters on the show, really). To be honest, these shows, funny as it sounds, were what got me interested in writing in the first place, and they've taught me more about writing good character development, plot, and dialogue (among other things) than even some of my favourite books. In short, these shows have heavily influenced my writing, and you will be hard-pressed not to find references to them in my stories somehow =p

On Constructive Criticism:
I love it. I really, really do. I'm pretty new at this, so any tips you guys could give me on how to improve, I'd really appreciate it. I want to get better at this, and the only way anyone can do that is to learn from their mistakes =) However, the key word here is constructive. I appreciate and accept the fact that not everyone will like my story, and so if what I write is not to your tastes, then fair enough. If you have ideas on how things could be improved, I will gladly take the time to listen, but if all you have to say is, "I hate it, you suck," or some variation of that, then I'm sorry, but don't bother commenting. Just move on to a story that is more suited to your tastes. I read all my reviews and do take them seriously, but be forewarned, I laugh off all flames I get, and they will merely be used to keep me warm in the long, winter nights.

Angel: "You still my girl?"
Buffy: "Always."
- "Enemies"
